There is also a taxi rank, bus stops and tourist train within a short walking distance. The nearest beach is the lovely Forte Beach with various water sports throughout the summer. When the tide is out you can walk along the beach to the Old Town, for the more adventurous there are the cliff top walks.
Within the Albufeira area you will find golf courses, horse riding, water parks, Zoomarine (where you can swim with the dolphins) and Algarve shopping for the shopoholics.
