This is a new quality build spacious luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2nd floor apartment with lovely sea views with four separate balconies where you can sit and relax and watch the stunning sunsets and overall view. The property is ideal for those looking for a relaxing holiday with all amenities on your doorstep. The building has a communal adult pool (enclosed) with a lovely landscaped sunbathing area with designated sunbeds. There is secure undergroung parking and each apartment has it's own space. There is only one other flat on our floor and one above which is the penthouse.(no noisey corridors). Entry to the building is by secure gates and the flat has video entry controlled system installed. A lift is available from all levels including the garage.The flat also has security shutters and has a safe installed for your valuables. The apartment has a combined air conditioning and heating units located in the 2 bedrooms and lounge. Rates available now for 2010.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve sits on the South West tip of Europe and has a fantastic climate with almost all year round sunshine. It also boasts some of the finest golden sandy beaches in Europe with numerous secluded coves surrounded by huge cliff faces.The scenery is fantastic. Inland you will find some quaint villages and traces of the Moorish presence still in evidence in local architecture .
Albufeira / Olhos d'Agua area
Olhos D'Agua is a relatively quiet village where you can enjoy a peaceful holiday. No noisey pubs/clubs and no lager louts! A ten minute walk from the apartment takes you down to the beach where the approach road is borderd by little shops cafes and bars. The beach here is guarded and has toilet/shower facilities.Other beaches nearby are the Maria Luisa and the Falesia both very big lovely beaches.
The village has numerous shops banks a chemist and a medical centre all nearby to our apartment. A taxi rank and bus stop are literally 2 minutes from our apartment as well as the large supermarket at the bottom of our road which has its own bakery. There are a few other shops in the new precinct in front of our building which includes bank grocery store(Thomas Greens for British food) newsagents and chemist as well as a local municipal fruit and veg market. A tourist shop is situated next to where taxi/bus stop are and here you can book a variety of excursions whether it be Zoo Marine/Slide and Splash or a Fishing Trip. The buses that run to the various theme parks will pick you up outside the tourist shop. Car and cycle hire can also be arranged from here as well as a shuttle bus to the Large Algarve shopping area in Guia which is about 15-20 minutes away.
The local 'EVA' buses can take you into Albufeira or in the other direction into Vilamoura. Cost of a bus into Albufeira is 1.90 euro and a taxi ride is around 5 euro. Travel time is 5 minutes to Albufeira and about 15 min to Vilamoura. Albufeira has a new marina and Vilamoura also has a lovely marina where you will find shops and cafes
GOLF: If golf is your thing then you are spolied for choice. There are numerous courses in the Algarve with a few very good courses in Vilamoura and there are 2 courses near our apartment the Pine Cliffs and the Balai Golf village both nine holes.
Shops: There are 2 large shopping centres one is near Faro and the other is in Guia (15-20 mins by car) which has numrous shops and large stores selling well known designer labels . Nearby there is a Makro (you will need Portuguese fiscal number to use it). The shopping areas also have a cinema complex as well a ten pin bowling facility.
DINING: The two large shopping centres mentioned above have numerous well known food outlets such as Pizza hut MacDonalds KFC as well as chinese restaurants but you will find many good eating venues in and around Olhos D'agua where you will be able to sample the Portuguese style food with fish dishes being a speciality . There is a good variety of restaurants in the village whether it be pizza/ Italian food a good steak chinese or Indian all are within a short walk from our apartment. As well as restaurants there are numerous little cafes and bars in the village that serve snacks and meals throughout the day. We have a full list of good eating places we have experienced within our information pack at the apartment. During August there is usually a Sardine Festival when the beach at Olhos D'Agua is busy with various stalls with entertainment laid on. The smell of cooking is fabulous and the atmosphere great.
Things To Do: There are plenty of activities you can do whether it be watersports at the beach walking or going to the two big waterparks Aqualand or Slide and Splash both a short drive away although if you get the bus you will find other people will be getting picked up on the way so travelling time might be a little longer. One party who stayed at our apartment booked a fishing trip which included getting off at a secluded beach with picnic and of course some fishing they thought it was fantastic. Just round the corner from our apartment there is a local excursion shop which has all available activities you can take part in including a guided tour to Lisbon by coach which lasts most of the day. There are market days in different parts of Albufeira times locations can be obtained at the excursion shop although there is an antiques market which gets set up in the car park in front of our apartment building every 4th Sunday.
How to get there
Olhos D'Agua is situated between Albufeira and Vilamoura. Oceanus Jardim apartment complex is situated in the heart of the village directly behind the new shopping precinct and municipal market. Faro airport is only a short drive away approx 25mins. There are several airlines from the UK which travel to Faro Airport and flight time is around 2hr 50min.

There are numerous car hire company's available at the airport. Some of the off airport companies can give you competitive rates and will bring the car to the airport for you, best to shop around for the best deals. If you require private transport then this can be arranged for you. Prices for transfer are around 60-70 erous return for a party of 4. We booked a car throuigh Atlas Choice who recommend various hire firms. We booked through Thrifty Car Hire via Atlas Choice and found them to be very good, we also hired a car through Argus Car Hire via Luz Ocean Drive good quality car.

Further details indoors: One of the single beds has a 'guest bed' which is a pull out bed. There is also a travel cot available for a very young child. There is loads of storage space in each bedroom
Kitchen: Kitchen is fully equipped with fitted modern appliances including washing machine and dishwasher .In the kitchen there is a small cd/radio player .
Entertainment: As well as a flat screen 32 inch TV and Cd player there is a playstation available with some games. There is also numerous music CDs and some film CDs. If you like reading there is a large selection of books available. There is also an ipod player docking station which also charges some mobile phones.
Further details outdoors: We specify not suitable for children under five mainly because we are on the second floor with access to balconies and the pool here is not fenced off so caution must be taken with young children who are mobile enough to get about on their own.

We have someone looking after our property who can be contacted should you need assistance and who can also meet you at the airport and take you to the apartment. If you wish a welcome pack which consists of basic food items bread eggs mik tea/coffee butter cheese and a Bott le of wine! please let us know and this can be provided at an additional cost of approx 20/25 euros.

Just a quick note to thank you for the use of your apartment which is luxurious to say the least, very much a home from home. Will have no hesitation in booking your apartment again if we are looking for a break in the Algarve. Mrs and Mrs Fincham, stayed September 2009.
We had a great time in Portugal. Apartment was of a very high standard and extremely clean. Great location with so many restaurants in easy reach, no need to drive at night. Only used car to go sight seeing as everything we needed was on the doorstep. Would recommend travelling to Tavira, Loule Market etc. Loved having lunch on the balcony and looking out to the sea, and having drinks on the kitchen balcony in the evening sun with the lovely breeze. Enjoyed Falesia Beach, not too crowded.

Loved the apartment everything was spot on. beds and furniture very comfortable and lovely balconies.Lovely kitchen but we ate out every night. Would have been useful to have instructions for washer/dryer in English. It was a pleasure to have UK channels on TV .Had a wonderful time and hope to return sometime in the future.

We as a party of four stayed in this apartment in November 2008. The apartment is very spacious and tastefully decorated to a very high standard It has absolutely everything you need. The weather even at this time of year was excellent and the views from the balconies are breath taking.Accommodation is also excellent and with 2 couples having separate toilets/showeer facilities was great. The kitchen is beautifully furnished with all mod cons .There are shops on the door step as well as transport, taxis and buses. A great place for young and old to enjoy it is a very quiet place away from all the usual holiday bars and clubs which are close enough to reach in nearby Albufeira if you so desire this type of holiday. The beaches are stunning and go for miles we will definitely be back...enjoy Ann ..Billy and friends stayed for 2wks in November
