Beautiful designer apartment in luxury block with a private leisure complex including pool, gym and sauna
All rooms are fully air-conditioned and heated and fitted with superior quality furniture for owners own use - many times better than the usual rental standard! A maid will clean the apartment each week and change the bedding and towels, so you can enjoy your holiday!
The main bedroom has its own en-suite shower room and very comfortable king sized bed, and features sliding doors to the large dining patio. The second bedroom has deluxe twin beds, one with a visco-elastic mattress ideal for those with back problems, or anyone wanting to try the ultimate sleep.
The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath and overhead shower, wc, bidet and modern wash basin
Both bathrooms are very stylish, fully tiled and have under-floor heating - a treat to use!
There is a dream of a kitchen - it's large and has granite worktops and every Bosch appliances you could wish for, including dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer and both a conventional oven and microwave – all built in.

All windows have electric window blinds in addition to curtains. The apartment also has a small safe fitted.
THE LEISURE FACILITIES are a special feature of this apartment and are available to residents and guests. They include an air conditioned swimming pool with recreational area, indoor and with full height glass walls.
Above this there is a sun terrace with a lovely separate tropical garden..
It also has a very well equipped fitness gym with the latest equipment, sauna and steam room, changing, shower and toilet facilities. There is even a pool table room.

Much larger than the upper floors, our PATIO has a stone oval dining table with a two seater matching bench seat and 4 further comfortable chairs. It extends to a small garden area across the full width of the apartment
Sun loungers are provided for the patio.
The apartment block is situated in its own grounds with secure access .The underground car park has electric remote controlled door access, making golf club storage ideal
A welcome pack is provided for our guests arrival.
20% deposit secures the booking, which can be by Paypal or cheque and is non refundable. Balance within 8 weeks of departure please.
All linen and towels - but not beach towels - are provided and changed weekly. A maid will also clean the apartment each week - so you can relax and enjoy the holiday.
We respectfully request that a breakage deposit of £150.00 is sent with the final payment. This will be refunded immediately following a check on the apartment on the day of your departure.
Please note that the condominium management request a one-off payment of 20 euros contribution to maintenance expenses for use of the gym and steam rooms. All the other facilities including the pool are completely free.

We regret that we must ask guests NOT to smoke in the apartment, as within our family there is a severe asthmatic. Please, however, feel free to smoke on the balcony or in the garden if you wish.
We strongly recommend that guests take out insurance cover before they travel as we regret that bookings are only accepted upon the basis that the owner of the property will have no liability in either English or Portuguese law for any loss or personal injury to any guests or their property, however caused, during their stay.
The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The weather and the friendliness of the locals are key attractions. Guia itself is situated roughly 10 minutes from the bustling resort of Albufeira and enjoys the best Algarve weather, without the humidity and noise encountered in more suburban areas.
Many English people also come in the winter months to enjoy the far milder temperatures for which the Algarve is so well known. There is a mixture of quaint fishing villages and small coves along the coast and historic market towns further inland. One most notable is the area's old capital, Silves, just 25mins away. It dates back to 1000BC and has a Moors castle, stunning views and is well worth a day out. to explore.
The Albufeira / Guia area
Excellent long sandy beaches at Gale are less than a 10 minute drive away. This has water sports and three charming fish restaurants overlooking the sea. It is possible to walk miles along this beach with some breathtaking views.
An 18 hole Par 72 Links course is at Salgados, just 10 minutes by car and close to the beach at Gale This has a Driving Range • Putting Green • Chipping Green & Bunker Area • Pro-Shop • Restaurant & Bar
Balaia has a 9 hole Par 27 course with similar facilities and also a Tennis court. This is 18 minutes from Guia
There are around 25 golf courses between Faro airport and the western tip of the Algarve and Guia is centrally placed to try them all! A full listing and details are in the apartment.
Slide and Splash is on the outskirts of Guia and claimed to be one of the best in Europe. It has lots of different water rides and slides to both entertain and challenge as well as a huge swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and eating facilities. Zoomarine This is on the other side of Guia and is a large water theme park with dolphin exhibitions as the key attraction. Great for kids of all ages. www.zoomarine.pt

Sir Cliff Richard had the right idea when he bought a villa on the outskirts of Guia, the village has a wealth of charming little restaurants serving good food at reasonable prices
From local Portuguese styled cafes to French influenced bistros. The choice is yours and the beauty is that none are further than a few minutes walk away.
Local specialties include the famous chicken Pir Piri which is delicious and well worth a try
For a very special occasion however, there is a two rosette Michelin starred restaurant, again just 10 minutes by car or taxi. There, the views of the sea vie with the awesome food and service to give you the experience of a lifetime.
The Algarave Shopping Mall is only 10 minutes from the apartment and offers an exciting choice of designer boutiques from Zara and Mango to Ralph Lauren and Armani. It also houses a large food hall and hypermarket.
Makro is just opposite and has amazing bargains on items like food and wine.
CLIFF RICHARD's VINEYARD:
Not only does Cliff have his own villa in Guia, but he also has his vineyards here as well. These are open to the public throughout the year.
Apart from the many restaurants and bars in Guia, there are a wealth of night clubs and a multiplex cinema in Albufeira, the main town just 10 minutes drive away, or for a more sophisticated scene try the Marina at Villamora (about 25 mins), which has many boutique style shops and waterside restaurants alongside the moored yachts.

Low cost airlines such as JET2, Easyjet and BMIbaby together with Ryanair and other major airlines, including Thompsonfly and BA, fly regularly into Faro.
Transfers from the airport can be prebooked for either a shuttle bus or private hire. It takes about 35 minutes by car, to reach the apartment which is essentially 'just down the motorway'.
Car hire is useful for exploring, but not essential, as Guia is quite self contained. There are many hire companies operating from within the airport terminal, so this is very easy to do, but there are also agents in Guia itself.
The owner will provide all the details and help needed to arrange whichever transportation you prefer.

Apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished to suit four guests within a quiet and well maintained block with access to indoor pool and leisure facilities. It has everything you could want to be able to self-cater should you choose to and it is obvious that the owners have put a great deal of thought into equipping the apartment so it is "home from home." They have put together a very comprehensive guide to all equipment in the apartment and ideas for eating out, details of supermarkets, beaches, places to visit and huge list of golf courses. The apartment is within walking distance of some very good restaurants and a lovely bakery is a minutes walk away. Gale beach is less than ten minutes in the car. It was our first visit to the Algarve and the Portuguese people were absolutely lovely and their country is beautiful. Guia is a safe, quiet village but really well placed to visit other areas. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment as a great holiday base for the Algarve.

This is an exceptional propertry, everything is as described, with nothing missing, it really had everything you would ever need. I'd even go as far to say "this is home from home". We enjoyed daily chats to the neighbours, who were most helpful with instructions to get around.
The location was excellent, for just about everything we did.
We will definitely recommend this apartment to all our friends, and would definately consider using it again.

Third time staying at this apartment. Always immaculate and fitted out with all the mod cons. Having a second bathroom is a real plus. The owners always leave a 'welcome' food pack which we appreciated even more this time as we arrived on a late flight. Location is within easy walking distance of the main hub of the village where there are several good restaurants. We ate in a few nights too and were happily surprised that the kitchen was stocked with pretty much all the key utensils. The nearest beach (Praia de Gale) is no more than 10 minutes by car, or the apartment has a good-sized terrace with sun loungers. We only used the leisure complex a few times but there is a good pool, roof terrace, sauna, gym and pool table. On the days we ventured there, we more or less had it to ourselves!
