A spacious two bedroom apartment with a private patio set in the grounds of Villa Cordelia in Foral, Algarve, Portugal.

The apartment is open plan with a kitchen, with combined dining, lounge area set between two large self contained bedrooms. The kitchen area has a gas cooker, with oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, washing machine, deep freeze and refrigerator. There is a dining table with four chairs. The lounge/diner has one sofa, and a flat screen TV/DVD. Both double bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with bath and shower, plus a walk in shower, wash hand basin, WC and Bidet.

Surrounding the apartment are the beautiful gardens and grounds of Villa Cordelia with fruit trees and shrubs giving an array of blossom and colour. There is also the use of a large private swimming pool with changing rooms and facilities.

The property sleeps 4 adults. However, we can accommodate for small children as well.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The beautiful Algarvian coast is within 20 minutes drive, including the Algarve Shopping Complex and the night life at Albufeira. Most of the well known golf resorts are also within one hour away by car. However just to enjoy the local country side can be a pleasant and relaxing holiday for many visitors.

The popular resort town of Albufeira is just 20 minutes away by car. Gale beach is the same distance and is used mostly by the Portuguese - it is a stunning beach. There are many beaches all within 20 minutes by car. You won't go hungry or thirsty as there are many bars and restaurants and public services.

Albufeira / Foral - Larga Vista area

Within easy reach of the apartment are choices of local restaurants offering a variety of Algarvian country food or a la carte Portuguese cuisine and fine wines. The medieval Castles and towns of Silves and Paderne are worth a visit, plus the ancient market towns of Messines, Algoz Paderne and Alte are approximately within a radius of six miles away.

Villa Cordelia is situated in the rural area of Quinta Larga Vista, once the largest private estate in Portugal, which was owned and used for hunting with the Royal lodges of the ancient Kings of Portugal. The Urban District of Foral consists of approx 100 large private villas set in their own grounds inter-weaved in the local country side. Foral is surrounded by orange and lemon groves, vine yards and open country side.

The apartment is solar heated giving constant hot water with AC units for heating or air conditioning to keep cool in the heat of the summer.

To the front of the property is a private patio with patio furniture where you can sit and enjoy the sunny days and warm evenings or eat alfresco. There is also private parking to the front of the property for those wishing to hire a car during their stay.
