The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. The tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quiets down in the dead of winter. Even then, there are many days when it is warm and sunny enough to sunbathe or sit outside at the pavement cafes and enjoy the balmy weather. The golf season extends from autumn and spring and golfers can enjoy the warm sunny conditions whilst their own courses at home are unplayable. In summer they can receive discounted green fees at many courses.
Albufeira / Montechoro area
Beach Laze on the breathtaking stretch of golden sandy beaches of Praia da Oura or Santa Eulalia, just a short 15-20 minute stroll away. Relax and soak up the sun, enjoy the varied water sports in season, or savour the mouth-watering beach restaurants.
Golf Perfectly situated for golfers with easy access to many golf courses; Balaia is less than 5 minutes away and the Sheraton Pine Cliffs and world class golf courses of Vilamoura are an easy 10 minutes drive from the apartment.
Location Parque da Corcovada is situated on the edge of Montechoro, just off the main street of Albufeira, in close proximity of The Strip, restaurants, shops and bars. The tourist train to Oura Beach, the Old Town and Fisherman’s Beach runs every 20 minutes. 30 minutes from Faro Airport.
How to get there
Faro Airport is 30 minutes away. Airport transfers can be arranged at a total one-way price of €35 for 1 - 4 guests and €50 for 5 - 8 guests.
