This spacious 1 bedroom ground floor air conditioned & heated apartment is located in the relaxing Quinta dos Brejos private condominium with pools & gardens. Ideally situated between the Old Town & the lively New Strip. The Apt sleeps 4, consisting of 1 double bedroom & twin sofa beds.

Both rooms have TV's & DVD players,plus Freeview Satellite & Flat screen LCD TV ( ITV 1,2,3, & BBC 1,2,plus many more. It has a large tiled bathroom with shower, fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, washer/dryer, toaster, kettle & portable electric grill for barbeques on the patio. The open plan Lounge/Dining room leads through patio doors to the patio with furniture and garden with comfortable deckchairs. The Algarve / Central Algarve region

What can I say? It's beautiful - that's why we bought this apartment!
Sunshine all year round, (about 300 days a year), for a relaxing holiday or exciting nightlife. Temperatures range from 17C - 21C in the Winter to as high as 25C - 32C in the Summer.

The Algarve has an abundance of beautiful golden sandy beaches with crystal clear waters. There are more than 20 different beaches along the Albufeira coastline alone.

For those who would like to investigate the surrounding areas, the nearby towns such as the castle town of Silves, are really worth a visit, with its museums and spectacular old buildings.
If you are more into sports, then the fantastic selection of golf courses in the area will make you happy, or the horse riding available in lots of locations is great for all the family.

There are also fantastic restaurants in the area serving traditional dishes such as grilled sardines and chicken Piri piri, both of which are delicious and great value, as are the wines. You also usually get a complimentary glass of Port, and where better a place to try it but in its coutry of origin.

Whether you want to soak in the sun, the culture or the nightlife, Albufeira is the place to visit!


Albufeira / Quinta Dos Brejos area

Albufeira really consists of two separate areas. For the more relaxed of us it has "The Old Town", with its cobbled streets, shops and restaurants. It has nightly entertainment and the younger children love it!
For the teenagers and younger generation, there is the New Strip in Areias sao Joao with clubs, bars, restaurants and plenty of nightlife, going on until the early hours of the morning.

Where the apartment is, in Quinta Dos Brejos, is about in between both places and ideally situated. If you don't have a car, the bus stop is about 150yds away, and buses run every half hour, on the hour, and costs approx 1 euro each. A taxi to or from either area will cost approx 3 euros. If you prefer the healthy option you could also walk. You can also hire bikes or mopeds in quite a few locations.

If you like to shop, the biggest shopping centre in the whole of the Algarve is only minutes away by car. I think it has over 100 shops, and could keep a serious shopper going for the whole day! It is orignally called "Algarve Shopping", and also has lots of restaurants and cinemas.
The apartment is only a couple of hundred yards from the huge "Gypsey Market" which is on a Tuesday. You can grab yourself a great bargain, especially if you like to haggle!

If you want to take the children on a fabulous day trip, the place to go is "ZooMarine", with its waterparks, restaurants, 4D cinema and many bird and dolphin displays, it is a fantastic day for the whole family. You can swim with the dolphins, (it is quite expensive, and you have to book in advance and be over 8 years old), but it is an unbelievable experience! The last time I was there, the average age of people swimming with the dolphins was about 65, so if you are older, don't be put off by the fact you have to be over 8, you won't be the only ones who aren't kiddies.

There are also some great Waterparks nearby, such as "Slide and Splash" and "Aqualand".
The Golf courses are world class and plentiful, and Vilamoura marina is well worth a visit. The marina at Albufeira is multicoloured and has great activities at night such as go-karting, and a good selection of restaurants.

Whether you want the lively hustle and bustle, or a quiet relaxing holiday, Albufeira is the place to go!

Quinta Dos Brejos Village, Albufeira is 35km west of Faro airport and is approximately 30 minute drive along the motorway. There is a regular bus service between the airport and Albufeira.
Car hire is available at the airport from all the major operators.

If driving from Faro Airport follow signs for Albufeira join the A22 Motorway and exit for Albufeira drive down past Vale Paraiso on the left, Pass Club Albufeira on the right. On reaching the main roundabout take the third exit left and carry on straight up the hill. LIDL SUPERMARKET is on your left,at the roundabout take the third exit driving past the entrance to LIDL,at the next roundabout take a first right and proceed to a staggered junction, turn left and drive around 400yds, Quinta dos Brejos village ( White walls, yellow bands,& green roller shutters is on your left. Drive in a few yards to the mini roundabout BLOCK RD is first right.Parking is under green shaded covers through the sliding gate at the end of block RD or you may chose to park in the parking spaces outside of the gate which are convenient
