The Algarve region
Albufeira is blessed with a temperate climate, resulting in not only summer holidays being enjoyed on the glorious beaches and quality golf courses.
The Algarve area has many areas of interests including their moorish history and local markets, including an excellent market at Silves, which can be incorpated with a visit to the explore the old hillside town and castle ruins.
For a dramatic coastal scene travel up to Cape Vincent and on your return journey take a lunch or dinner at one of the many fish restaurants at Sagres.
For marinas Albufeira hosts it own colourful marina or travel and sit amongst the rich at Valmoura and enjoy a round of golf on one of the leading courses at near by Vale De Lobo.
Albufeira / Montechoro area
The location of Albufeira makes it accessable to all the major tourist attractions of the algarve. Trips can be booked in one of many tourist offices in the area, including the aqua park and marine life centre. The apartment is within a 1minute walk to a supermarket and bank and 3 minutes walk to a local excellent bakery.
A local hotel pool with children's pool area and bar/cafe is located next to the bakery.
The strip offers lively entertainment and wide choice of eating venues, if the 20minute walk seems to far to reach the old town, then the tourist train can pick you up from the strip.
Fishermans beach can be found in the heart of the old town, or Praia d'Oura at the base of the strip. Sao Rapheal is a small coved beach found just past the marina with a lovely 4star restaurant on the beach, well worth a visit.
How to get there
Faro airport is a 30 minute drive away, which is served by all the main car hire companys or alternative take a taxi.
By ferry from Dover to Calais is a car journey of 3 days.

Further details indoors: * High internal specification including key access only doors to apartment block and video intercom system. * Main bathroom hosts a shower/Jacuzzi bath, bidet, wc and a basin set in a large granite surround. * Double Bed settee in lounge is served by its own wardrobe. * The double bed stated above is actually a 5' kingsize bed. * Kitchen is furnished with siemens appliances and a granite worktop with well stocked dinner ware, glasses, pans etc. * No need to state if a cot is required as there is a permanent travel cot housed in the apartment. * Apartment block consists only of 4 levels with only 3 penthouses sharing the top floor.
Further details outdoors: * The bedrooms, lounge and kitchen all lead onto the large front balcony. * The front balcony hosts four sunloungers, and a 6 seater dining suite ideal for alfresco dining. * The hall gives access to the rear balcony which overlooks the interal courtyard. * Security is hightened by electric metal shutters to all the 5 patio doors.

* Short term breaks will be allocated outside summer and peak summer season only. * £100 security deposit is required which is returned within 2 weeks of departure of apartment after an inspection has been made. * £100 required to secure booking non refundable the outstanding payment will be required 8 weeks before holiday date. * This is a non smoking apartment therefore smokers are requested to use the balcony area.
