Ideal location for people who enjoy homley accommodation. This apartment is in a quiet area but is parallel to "The Strip" just off the "WORMS ROUNDABOUT" It has an outdoor pool with sunloungers and is ideal for relaxing on the warm sunny days which seems to be the "norm "all the time in Portugal. It is very central to all restaurants bars etc. We particularly like "Tres Palmeiras" restaurant which is only a few minutes away. Ideal for families and anyone looking for the comfort of a home away from home.The apartment is very central and is ideally suited for those who like a quiet holiday but if you like a bit more adventure everything is within walking distance.There is a huge selection of restaurants on "The Strip" which is only 5 mins walk away.Everyone who has booked this comes back every year. 2 studio couches in living room to sleep 4 extra

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

There are many Places of interest to visit during your stay. The Zoo Marine is of particular interest if you have children. Splash World is also a good day out as is a boat trip from Villamoura, all these may be booked from the office across the road from the apartment.There is a fine shopping centre about 10 mins walk away called Modelo, there you will find a huge selection of local and International produce, as well as cheap beer and wine !!! McDonalds is just across the road from Modelo. The old town of Albufeira is well worth a visit there you will see fishermans beach.Local taxis are very reasonable and there is also a little train which runs all day to oldtown.

Albufeira / Areias Sao Joao area

This is an ideal holiday for families and golfer alike. There are lots of local attractions such as Zoo marine and Splash world to attract families. For golfers there are numerous golf courses within a 15 minute drive. You will be spoiled for choice with restaurants. The "Tres Palmas" is just a 5 min. walk from the apartment and is one of the best known for dining in Albufeira.There is also a very nice Chinese restaurant a few minutes walk away called "The Big Shanghai " which is very reasonable and very good.

How to get there

All airlines from Ireland (Ryanair and Aer Lingus) and U.K. fly daily to Faro which is 40 minute drive from Albufeira

Further details indoors:
Being privately owned this apartment has all the facilities you could need. We have put up a sattelite dish to receive all our favourite channels RTE 1,2 and TV3 BBC 1 Sky news etc. There is also a DVD player to keep children amused while you relax on the balcony. There is a balcony off the kitchen for outdoor dining and a second balcony off the main bedroom. For security we have installed aluminium shutters on all doors and windows, these also black out the light making it very dark for late morning rising.

The access to the apartment block is secure with a zapper to open the gate both from the front and rear entrance. The swimming pool area also has a nice grass lawn for sunbathing. There is a bakery and mini market 5 mins from the rear entrance. There is also a nice restaurant on the ground floor. The apartment has a lift to all floors.

Instructions for turning on hot water and gas are printed on the back of the door as is my mobile phone number should you have any queries when on holiday.

Conditions

Smokers are asked to please only smoke on balcony. 25% booking deposit required balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. Airport transfers can be arranged on request. a deposit of €150. to be paid against damage or breakages which will be refunded 2 weeks after your holiday once inspection has been done.

There is a refundable security deposit of €150 required with final balance payment and will be refunded within 2 weeks of inspection after holiday. Transfers can be arranged to and from Faro at a cost of €60.for round trip for 1-4 people and €100 for 5-8 people.

Just back from 2 weeks and loved your apartment. The location is excellent it is so convenient to everything. Looking forward to returning again. With small children we particularly loved the toddlers pool. Michelle Doyle

Had the most relaxing holiday ever from the time we arrived at Faro everything was arranged forn us including a taxi for pick up and return. It was lovely to have our own channels on T.V. and watch matches etc. Will be back again. Mary O'Rourke.
