Home description
Beaches, restaurants, golf, small supermarket, newsagent are all close by. The well tended garden with palm trees surrounds two communal pools and a discreet children's pool. Albufeira old town, Zoomarine, waterparks, markets, quaint & historic towns & villages are all easily accessible and there are many country & beach walks.
Each bedroom has an adjacent bathroom and all rooms have a balcony with views across countryside to the sea and sun from mid-day til sunset. Double (can be made up as twin) and twin bedroom, sofa-bed, and cot can be provided. Garage with 2 spaces and lift to the apartment.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
Situated in the extreme south of Portugal,this part of the country was the last to be conquered from the Moors by the Portuguese King in 1292. Traces of the Moorish presence are still seen in its unique architecture, terraces, chimneys and whitewashed houses.
This charming region, with its idyllic temperatures are ideal for playing golf and other sports. In the northern part of the Algarve, the hills of Espihacao de Cao, Monchique and Caldeirao shelter the coast from strong winds. This brightly coloured region with its fig trees, orange groves and almond trees in blossom, is also the most verdant and fertile. The southern coastline consists of long stretches of fabulous sandy beaches, broken up by extraordinary rugged cliffs and fantastic grottoes.
Apart from the wealth of water sport facilities there are golf courses, riding centres, water parks and an exciting nightlife.
Albufeira / Vale de Parra area
Vale de Parra is within walking distance of Gale beach, a very pretty, sheltered beach and next to it is Salgados beach which you can stroll along to Armacao da Pera with its variety of good, inexpensive local and ethnic seafront restaurants. There is a variety of excellent bars, restaurants and shops selling British newspapers.
Close by is the traditional village of Guia which is reputed to have 21 restaurants and is the home of chicken piri-piri! Guia is also home to "Algarve Shopping", a mall with excellent shops, bowling, multiplex cinema (with films in English) and a large supermarket. There is something for everyone. For sun lovers there are not only the beaches but several water parks. Children will enjoy Zoomarine where they can swim with dolphins, watch dolphins & seals "acting" in shows such as Peter Pan, and all only 10 mins away.
In the other direction is the bustling town of Albufeira with lively nightlife or the old town of Albufeira where you can sit in the cobbled square enjoying a drink or meal in one of the many cafes, relaxing to street music and watching the world go by.
For keen golfers Salgados offers an excellent course and is only five minutes away. There are also many lovely historic towns and villages within a short drive.

If you have a car it can be kept cool in the underground car park which has a lift to your apartment.
