Home description

Five minutes walk from the 'Worms' roundabout, but away from the busy road noise, the apartment is situated at the top of a small hill in a residential area, within a short distance from shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. It is ten minutes walk from the Strip and 20 minutes walk from the Old Town and beaches.

Being on the top (3rd) floor, there is a panoramic view of the town and the sea, from the private south facing roof-top, sun-trap terrace, where lazy days are plentiful.

Through sliding doors, from the lounge/ diner there is a further covered balcony with sea view, table and chairs and there is a communal swimming pool downstairs for a cooling dip.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Albufeira / Areias Sao Joao area

Albufeira is the Algarve's largest holiday resort, boasting some of the most effervescent night life in Portugal, with generous sandy beaches flanked by bustling esplanades, brimming with cafes, bars and restaurants.

The Old Town remains a relaxing, unusually pretty village with narrow, twisting lanes of white washed houses criss-crossing behind the high cliffs which overlook a beautiful spread of beaches. Whilst the lively Strip is gregarious with numerous bars, restaurants and souvenir shops open until late.

Besides the miles of sandy beaches, Albufeira has a funky Marina which is a 10 minute drive from the apartment and the cool inland mountains provide walking, wildlife, flora and fauna opportunities only 20 minutes drive away.

The Balaia and Pine Cliffs golf courses are nearby with Salgados a 15 minute drive to the West of Albufeira and the six world class golf courses of Vilamoura a 30 minute drive to the East.

Daily coach trips to places as far as Lisbon, Seville, Evora, Fatima and Gibraltar or as near as Faro, Portimao, Lagos, Silves and Monchique can easily be picked up from stops near to the apartment.

So whether you want a lively holiday or a quiet peaceful time, Albufeira provides some of the best of both and our apartment is ideally located and presented for Lazy Days!

Regular direct flights into Faro airport from many UK and European airports serviced by budget & non-budget airlines. Flight times of only around 2 and a half hours from the UK.

Hire cars can readily be picked up at the airport, as well as airport transfers to drive you directly to the Apartment, which takes 45 minutes. We can provide details and information upon request.

The apartment has wooden parquet and marble flooring throughout and is tastefully furnished with almost all new furniture. On the top floor, there is a luxury bathroom, featuring twin basins, a corner bath and floor to ceiling tiles, there is also a second fully fitted 4 piece bathroom with shower over bath, on the lower floor.

Sky TV showing UK channels a DVD, VHS and CD player, together with a chess set and playing cards provides entertainment for any cosy nights in and a Villager Wood Burning Stove adornes the marble fireplace for any chilly winter nights.

The apartment has a communal outdoor, non heated swimming pool, which includes a paddling pool and sun loungers, chairs and a BBQ area.

There is plenty of roadside parking spaces outside of the apartment block, which contains 12 mostly residential apartments.

It should be noted that being on the top floor of a 3 storey apartment building, with no lift, there are quite a number of stairs to climb to the apartment, which is why we say that it is not suitable for Children under 5, Wheelchair users and the Elderly or infirm.

Bed linen and towels are provided.
Guests to bring their own beach/ pool towels.
Maid cleaning service provided.


Conditions

A deposit of 25 % is required with booking, balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.

A refundable damage/ breakages/ excessive cleaning deposit of £ 125 is required with balance of payment, to be refunded within two weeks of your return home (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

Strictly no smoking except on the terrace and balcony.
