This beautiful new high class apartment is superbly situated in the area of Sao Rafael, just 4 kilometres to the west of Albufeira, the Algarve’s most famous and colourful resort. This is where peace and quiet starts, and some of the most fantastic Algarve beaches are just a short stroll away. Here you will find lovely white sand beaches with some superb beach restaurants, and the red rock formations which the Algarve is famous for.
This property is spacious and airy, with loads of day light making it feels really homely. It is furnished to a highest standard in a contemporary but cosy style, with a comfortable and luxury furnishing.
Our local map will show you how to reach some of the beaches that many tourists miss, Sao Rafael, Praia Grande, Praia do Coelho, Castelo, Evaristo and the long beautiful Gale beach, are all within a few minutes walk or drive.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The British are drawn to Portugal's Algarve coast by some of the best beaches in Europe, fantastic sporting facilities, superb eating out in all standards of restaurants, lovely people who are our oldest allies, and last, but certainly not least, the wonderful Algarve climate that gives over 3000 hours of sunshine each year. Even during the hot summer months, cooling Atlantic breezes make life comfortable, and the evenings are normally cool and pleasant for sleeping.
The region is colourful to say the least. Brightly coloured fishermen's boats are dotted along the beaches and the fresh fish and vegetable markets are a sight to behold. Some of the finest golf courses in Europe are here in the Algarve, and they attract many golfers each year. Deep sea fishing, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, athletics and scuba diving, are facilities to be found in abundance, no wonder it's called Sportugal!
Albufeira area
The Albufeira resort area, which includes Sesmarias, Sao Rafael, Castelo and Vale de Parra to the west. Guia to the north, and Branqueira to the east is a lovely area of countryside and beaches. in an uncommercialised area, dotted with villas of all descriptions, and lots of superb restaurants. This is where the countryside runs down to the sea and where you can park your car right next to the beach.
The Albufeira, Algarve area is considered to be part of the real Algarve, and one of the less commercialised areas in the Algarve for beautiful villas. Many show business and sporting stars own villas in this area, including Sir Cliff Richard, so don't be surprised if you bump into Cliff in one of the many Albufeira restaurants around here. Some of our favourite Albufeira restaurants such as Evaristo, Atlantico Guia, Castelo do Bispho, O'Marinheiro, Sao Domingos, Dom Carlos and A Sardinha are found here, and the area has numerous sandy coves where you can get away from it all.
The beautiful beaches of Sao Rafael, Evaristo, Castelo, Coelho and Gale are all nearby in the west of Albufeira, and Praia da Oura, Santa Eulalia and Falesia to the east. of Albufeira, and all are quite close to our villas in this area. Guia, just a few kilometres to the north of the coast is famous for its selection of restaurants, and especially the famous chicken piri-piri dish. Further details indoors: This privately owned apartment is furnished to the highest standards.The accommodation comprises attractive hall, spacious sitting room with dining area, sliding doors to south or south east facing terrace with sea and pool views, dining table and sun loungers, fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge / freezer, fitted microwave etc.
Master bedroom (most have twin beds pushed together) with en-suite bathroom and sliding door to main terrace. Second twin bedroom and a second bathroom with shower. The bedrooms and sitting room have air conditioning / heating units, and all electricity consumed by guests will be charged.
Further details outdoors: Outside is the large shared swimming pool, sun terrace and gardens.There are two tennis courst for guest's use and several shops are planned, but we are not aware of the trades at the moment. Nearby are numerous restaurants and a two small supermarkets. The lovely Sao Rafael beach and restaurant ar a short stroll away. Maid service.
Nearby is the popular Zoo Marine park where you can swim with the dolphins and enjoy many more activities, and several water parks which will keep the kids occupied all day long. The Vila Rosal Apartments are good for those clients who do not want to have a hire car.
There are numerous restaurants and bars nearby, you can walk to the beach in around 5/10 minutes, and the bus from Gale beach to Albufeira passes the apartments.
