The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The British are drawn to Portugal's Algarve coast by some of the best beaches in Europe, fantastic sporting facilities, superb eating out in all standards of restaurants, lovely people who are our oldest allies, and last, but certainly not least, the wonderful Algarve climate that gives over 3000 hours of sunshine each year.
Even during the hot summer months, cooling Atlantic breezes make life comfortable, and the evenings are normally cool and pleasant for sleeping. The region is colourful to say the least. Brightly coloured fishermen's boats are dotted along the beaches and the fresh fish and vegetable markets are a sight to behold.
Some of the finest golf courses in Europe are here in the Algarve, and they attract many golfers each year. Deep sea fishing, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, athletics and scuba diving, are facilities to be found in abundance, no wonder it's called Sportugal!
Albufeira area
The Albufeira resort area, which includes Sesmarias, Sao Rafael, Castelo and Vale de Parra to the west. Guia to the north, and Branqueira to the east is a lovely area of countryside and beaches. in an uncommercialised area, dotted with villas of all descriptions, and lots of superb restaurants. This is where the countryside runs down to the sea and where you can park your car right next to the beach.
The Albufeira, Algarve area is considered to be part of the real Algarve, and one of the less commercialised areas in the Algarve for beautiful villas. Many show business and sporting stars own villas in this area, including Sir Cliff Richard, so don't be surprised if you bump into Cliff in one of the many Albufeira restaurants around here. Some of our favourite Albufeira restaurants such as Evaristo, Atlantico Guia, Castelo do Bispho, O'Marinheiro, Sao Domingos, Dom Carlos and A Sardinha are found here, and the area has numerous sandy coves where you can get away from it all.
The beautiful beaches of Sao Rafael, Evaristo, Castelo, Coelho and Gale are all nearby in the west of Albufeira, and Praia da Oura, Santa Eulalia and Falesia to the east. of Albufeira, and all are quite close to our villas in this area. Guia, just a few kilometres to the north of the coast is famous for its selection of restaurants, and especially the famous chicken piri-piri dish. This is where Sir Cliff Richard has his villa and vinyard. If you are looking for a laid back villa or apartment holiday in the Algarve, in beautiful surroundings, then come to Albufeira, Algarve, Portugal.

Further details indoors: Large fully equipped newly fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer, coffee maker and washing machine/dryer. Most of the ground floor is finished in pink marble floor tiles. Each bedroom has its own colour scheme, with co-ordinating towels and bathrobes provided for guest use. Swimming pool towels are also provided.
The ground floor Pink Bedroom has a king size double bed, flat screen TV, new en-suite bathroom with huge walk-in double shower, and doors to pool and garden. Also on the ground floor is the newly furnished Blue Bedroom with twin beds, fitted carpet, new en-suite shower room and doors to a small balcony with table and chairs.
The newly furnished first floor Green Bedroom has twin beds, fitted carpet, new en-suite bathroom and sliding doors to a large private terrace with table, chairs and sunbeds, and which overlooks the garden and enjoys superb coastal views and fantastic sunsets which make for a memorable private villa holiday at your villa in Portugal.
The large Yellow Bedroom Suite is on the lower level and has twin beds, sitting area with sofa, chair and coffee table, en-suite bathroom and sliding doors to its private terrace, with table and chairs in a quiet area of the garden. This bedroom can comfortably accommodate an extra bed.
Further details outdoors: The attractive and spacious lawned gardens, which extend to over 2000 square metres, are well stocked with palm trees, fruit trees and flowering shrubs.
The large swimming pool can be heated, and enjoys FREE POOL HEATING in April, May & October 2009 for bookings made before 31 October 2008, ensuring that you can really enjoy your holiday to the full. There is a table tennis table under a covered pagoda next to the barbecue house, and you can enjoy a great game of croquet on the vast lawned garden.
The barbecue house next to the pool is equipped with sink and fridge for your poolside drinks, and those long leisurely lunches by the pool. The pool area and garden are floodlit in the evening.
