UP TO 10 People. This beautiful, fully air-conditioned holiday villa is situated at Albufeira. There are many local restaurants, some within walking distance, also shops and a supermarket near this self catering accommodation. Close to the golfs of Algarve.
This Algarve holiday property has nature gardens with a swimming pool, (8m x 3/4m), which can be HEATED ( this is available as an optional extra), surrounded by terraces, with a brick BBQ and shower, plus a large roof-top sun terrace.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve stretches across the whole of southern Portugal. Its name derives from the Arabic El-Gharb meaning "west". Although the Algarve has been occupied by the Moors for 600 years, besides some city- and castlewalls in Silves and Tavira, there are hardly any remainders. Nevertheless all houses in the Algarve are still being build with those typical arabic chimneys. The Romans however left several bridges and ruins
East of Faro the coast is known as the leeward shore. The area stretching eastwards to the Spanish border forms an unusual lagoon landscape closed by sandy islets. A great part of the coastline has been declared a protected area, namely Parque natural da Ria Formosa.
The windward shore is the Algarve's most famous stretch of coast. Ochre - coloured cliffs plunge down to the beach and the turquoise sea surges into coves and grottoes.
The interior of the Algarve is still relatively unknown. The flower-decked, whitewashed villages have managed to preserve their traditional appearance, where handicrafts are still an important industry for the local population. The year-round scents alone are worth the visit, with eucalyptus, pine, lavender and rock-rose all growing here in abundance.
Albufeira area
Tourist capital of the Algarve, you'll find lot of restaurants and pubs but always in a typical environment.
Albufeira is a perfectly located astonishing little town in the heart of Algarve. It used to be a small fishing village back in the 60's, but since then it has grown into a popular holiday resort for tourists from all over the world. The cheap flights to Faro makes it an easily reachable destination for everyone.
Albufeira is the number one for holidaymakers from the UK. The airport in Faro is just about 30km far from Albufeira. The huge variety of bars and café's won't leave anybody thirsty. The chicken restaurants are widely known for their top quality food and service.

Ground Floor of the vacation rental : Well equipped kitchen/breakfast room with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. A beautiful large circular lounge with feature wood burning stove and bar, together with satellite TV with digital receiver which receives numerous channels including BBC & ITV, with DVD and Hi Fi. There is a WC/cloakroom, two twin bedrooms sharing a bathroom with walk-in shower and another twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower.
