Home description
The apartment is situated on one of the cliffs overlooking old town Albufeira and the sea. The apartment has one main double bedroom and a sitting room sofa that can accommodate two people separately. The cosy apartment has a kitchen, a bathroom and a large balcony with stunning views. A private swimming pool is available for the usage of the residents of the building. Since the apartment is self catering, clients will need to buy their own food, but a local supermarket is a 2 minute walk away and provides everything that you will need for a comfortable stay, including some local produce. All amenities are within easy walking distance, including supermarkets, internet cafes, shops, nightclubs, bars, restaurants and public transport. The house is perfectly nestled to give a panoramic view of the main tourist area of Albufeira. The apartment has a typical beach feel that is inspired by the rustic styles of the local fishing people. The flat, with its tradicional decoration and its perfect location will allow visitors to experience the true beauty of Albufeira.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The region has a dry climate with hot, sunny summers and mild warm winters. Bars and discos line certain streets in the centre of Albufeira so nightlife is always available! The Algarve has many typical small towns and villages away from Albufeira that can be visited by tourists via bus. Aquaparks are abundant in the Algarve and so are a few safari parks. World class golf resorts are found in nearby Vilamoura.
Albufeira / Central Albufeira area
At the Praia dos Pescadores beach (Fisherman's beach), in the old town boat trips are available, including fishing and cave trips. During the summer time there are free concerts hosted by the local council. Many famous singers and artists such as Sir Cliff Richard and Nelly Furtado have all sung at the beach concerts. To attend one of the concerts, all you have to do is walk to the beach and get a place! There are also firework displays that can be viewed from the beach and from our balcony. During the New year, more concerts are held at the beach and very VERY big after parties, all people parading through the streets and on the beach! For History enthusiasts, the church, in the old part of the town, can be explored. The church and most of Albufeira was destroyed by the 1755 earthquake that famously hit Lisbon. The old buildings were re-constructed and can now be seen in today's modern city. Lisbon and Seville (Spain) are both 2 hours away by car. Regular bus service to and from both cities. Also private excursions with guide.
How to get there
The nearest airport is Faro. The available budget airlines that fly to Faro are numerous and among them are: Easyjet, Flybe, Monarch, Thomson, etc. The airport contains permanently stationed car hire companies that offer cars for all types of budgets. I can personally reccommend a small car hire company run privately.
