About the home

This fantastic 1 bedroom courtyart apartment is located in the family friendly Quinta dos Brejos in Albuferira. The courtyard conisics of 8 apartments (4 on each side) Apartment L is an end Apartment. The Apartment is ideally positioned between the Old town and the Strip been within a 15min walk to each also within 20min walk to the lovely beaches. Some of the best golf courses in Europe, are only 10min drive away.

The apartment has one twin bedroom . Tiled bathroom and fully fitted kitchen. The lounge/dining room has plenty of space to lounge around in!There is plenty of car parking at the rear of the apartment for that hired car.
And the pool is only 30sec walk away and can be seen from the dining room and kitchen windows.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

It has 300 or more days of sunshine annually.
The Spanish border is only 45 min on the A22 Eastward, it is possible to get a ferry to Morroco it approx a half hour crossing.. Vilamoura (resort) is only 10 min away, it is a Golfers and Yachting paradise.
The largest shopping centre in the Algarve is less then10 min drive, located in Guia village, "Shopping Algarve".

Complex has everything, Cinemas , 10 Pin Bowling Fast food outlets , restaurants and all the main high street shops.On the opposite side of the road to "Shopping Algarve" you have the Retail Park with all your electrical and home needs. Lisbon + Fatima can be seen on a day trip by train from Albufeira station.

The Albufeira / Quinta Dos Brejos area

Albufeira is one of the top holiday destinations in the Algarve. With its mix of New and Old Town. The old town remains an unusually pretty village with its narrow cobblestone streets, twisting lanes of whitewashed houses and terracotta roofs above a beautiful spread of beaches. In the day time walk around all the local shops and have a drink in one of the many Bar's and Restaurant over looking the pitcuresque beaches.
In the night watch the town come alive with street performers and music . In one of the many great Restaurant's why not try chicken piri piri one of the local dishes.

In the New Town you have late Bars and Discos open in the early hours. With some more great Restaurants.
All this is with 15min walk from Quinta dos Brejos. Also dont forget about Slide and Splash, Aqualand, Zoomarine all with in 20min drive and some of finest golf course with in 10min drive from Quinta dos Brejos.
Quinta dos Brejos is a small village feel complex with its own Shared outdoor pool and Shared gardens. It is a quite and peaceful place to relax and very safe for young children with there own Children's pool to play in.

If driving fron Faro Airport. Take the N125 westbound. Turn off at the exit signed Alubfeira. Pass Vale Paraiso on the left. Pass Club Aibufeira on the right and go under a footbridge. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit and carry on straight ahead up the hill . At the roundabout take the 2nd exit straight ahead and signed for Montechoro. Pass the new bus station on the left. At the T-junction turn left (signed to Montechoro) Just in under 1km turn left into Quinta dos Brejos white walls with yellow stripes. Parking is under the green shade covers at the back of Block RC RE-2.

my family and I stayed in this apartment and the one next to it in august 2010. it is by far the best hol i hav had in portugal so far. the location is perfect and very peaceful. the strip and old town is jus a 5 min bus journey. the apartment itself had everything u wud need and more. it is very well kept and the pool area was private and somewhere u cud relax!! the complex as a whole was very clean,private and very relaxing. as its a ground level apart there is no hassle with stairs or balconies,which was a big plus as we had small children with us. all in all i will give this apart along with our experience 10/10... thanx to pete and hil 4 all their help durin our stay and of course to denis for all his help..
we will definitely be in contact again denis..

SEPTEMBER 2010

We have just returned from 2 weeks in the beautiful algarve.It is our first time in portugal and we definately made the right choice in destination and in this accomodation.The apartment is wonderful exactly as described in the listing if not better,a real home from home.It is spotlessly clean and extreemly well maintained with everything you could possibly need.The pool area is also lovely,very private and relaxing, in fact the same can be said of the complex as a whole.The walk in to town takes approximately 20 minutes and is very pleasant although can be a bit of a challenge in the hottest part of the day.The local bus service is also very good and the main bus station is only 5 minutes walk away.The weather during our stay was fantastic clear blue sys every day and HOT ! Dennis was very helpful from us booking to returning home answering all our questions very quickly.We definitely hope to be back next year..

Though slightly out of the main centre, it more than made up for it ,by the standard of the property.
High standard of cleanliness, and level of equipment.
Would happily recommend to friends and family.
The pool area was very clean. And well looked after
By using the local circular bus service,(approx 200mts away)
it opens up all aspects of the resort.
Would recommend use of local transfer from airport

I really must say that we passed one of the best vacation of our lives. The apartment is located in one of the quietest areas of Albufeira. It is equipped with everything and more than a family of 4 people would expect or need. Air conditioning in the bedroom and living room, washer and dryer included, dishwasher and everything imaginable. The bathroom is very spacious with a huge table and mirror, bath and bidet. This small resort of Quinta dos Brejos has a swimming area with 2 swimming pools (one for the little ones) where we relaxed and enjoyed it. Very quiet to relax. A half hour walk the pedestrian shopping center of Albufeira, full of bars, restaurants and everything you want. Thanks to Hilary and especially to Pete for all your kindness and for always being willing to lend a hand. Quite sure there again.

Realmente debo decir que hemos pasado una de las mejores vacaciones de nuestra vida. El apartamento está ubicado en una de las zonas mas tranquilas de Albufeira. Está equipado con todo y más de lo que una familia de 4 personas podria esperar o necesitar. Aire acondicionado en la habitación y el salón, lavadora con secadora incluida, lavavajillas y todo lo imaginable. El baño es muy amplio con una mesada y espejo enorme, bañera y bidet. Esta pequeña urbanización de quinta Dos Brejos posee una zona de baño con 2 piscinas (una para los mas pequeñitos) donde nos hemos relajado y disfrutado mucho. Todo muy tranquilo para descansar. A media hora andando el centro peatonal y comercial de Albufeira, repleto de bares, restaurantes y todo lo que se quiera. Gracias a Hilary y especialmente a pete por toda su amabilidad, y por estar siempre dispuesto a dar una mano. Segurísimamente volveremos por allí.
