Balaia Golf Village is just 25 minutes by car from Faro International Airport, and is ideally located in the central Algarve between Vilamoura and Albufeira, with their golden beaches, extensive shopping, leisure facilities and lively, cosmopolitan nightlife.
This is a fantastic ground floor, superior apartment with a large terrace (perfect for BBQs) overlooking one of the swimming pools. The apartment is at the front of the complex, close to all the amenities. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 en-suite and there is a sofa bed in the lounge to sleep 6. There is an additional bathroom. The apartment is fully air-conditioned throughout.
Balaia Golf Village has 6 swmming pools with pool bars, 9 hole golf course, golf driving range, golf club house with bar/restaurant, tennis courts, children's play areas, health club, restaurant, bar & shops.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
Portugal's Algarve region has a sunny climate with a pleasant breeze making it one of the most sought after resorts in Europe.It has miles of golden sandy beaches.
Some of the world's best golf courses are within a 20 minute drive. There are several water parks as well as many wtaer sports such as sailing & water skiing, you can even swim with the dolphins - an amazing experience! There is fishing, horse back riding for the cultural old castles and Roman ruins. There is something to satisfy everyone in the family.
The old town of Albufeira & the cosmopolitan marina of Vilamoura are a short drive away. The city of Faro is a bit further, but well worth the drive for the shopping, restaurants & bars. We also like the plaza at Vale do Lobo, where there is nightly entertainment - great for keeping the kids entertained at the table whilst we all eat!
For nature lovers the orange groves flower in the winter, filling the air with a wonderful fragance. In January the almond trees bloom giving a beautiful white appearance along the road.
It really is an all year round destiantion for a short break or full holiday.
Albufeira / Balaia Golf Village area
Balaia Golf Village has matured over the years into a popular haven for those who appreciate the quality of design and construction of the apartments and villas around the beautifully landscaped gardens.

Our visitors can enjoy the "A Varanda" and "Le Club" restaurants and our various pool bars. The nearest shops are within walking distance, golden beaches are a mere 300m away, and there are 8 golf courses within a 20 minute drive.
How to get there
Fly to FARO Air Port, it is about 30 kilometres from Balaia Golf Village. Easyjet, Jet2 & Monarch all fly into Faro. You can take a taxi from the airport & it should cost you about 30 Euros or you can call Balaia Golf village directly, give them your flight information and they will arrange for you to be picked up for a similar charge.
If you are driving: Follow the main exit out of Faro airport. About 5 or 6 Km, take EN125/IC2 west towards Albufeira/Portimao. This is an old road and you'll be on it for 2 or 3 Km. Look for signs to the highway A22 towards Albufeira. Follow A22 for about 20 KM and take the Albufeira exit. There is/was some road construction going on , but simply follow the road for about 2-3 Km, until you come to a roundabout, ( we call them rotaries). At the roundabout you take a left ( 270 degrees) . Go straight. At the 3rd roundabout, take a right (90degrees) follow the road through a shopping area) At the next roundabout take a left (270 degrees) . Balaia will be on your left. Go through the gate , the reception office will be on your left.

The master bedroom is en suite & there is also another double bedroom. There is an additional bathroom. Both bathrooms have showers, baths & wc's.
The large lounge & dining room has a sofa bed (increasing capacity comfortably to 6), built in seating area, coffee table, TV, dining room table & chairs
The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster, coffee machine, juicer.
The utility room has a washing machine & tumble dryer.
Further details outdoors: There is a very large patio area overlooking one of the swimming pools and gardens. Within the village there are luxuriant gardens and 6 swimming pools, with pool bars. As well as the 9 hole course there is a golf, driving range and golf academy, petanque, table tennis, tennis, children's play area + Club in high season. The Health Club provides jacuzzi, steam room, gym and heated pool.
The commercial area has a supermarket, newsagent, hairdresser/beautician and clinic. To cater for all the business clients, Balaia now can offer an Internet Cafe and a wireless zone where you can plug your own laptop. Apart from the on site Health Club, you can now enjoy the deluxe SPA facilites of the Hotel Real Santa Eulalia, contact reception for for further information.
The whole Algarve coastline is one long sandy beach with numerous bays and coves. Maria Luisa and Santa Eulalia beaches are both within a 10 minute walk from the complex and offer sunbeds, water sports and restaurants.
The true test of any golf course is measured by requiring a player’s ability to control shot length and direction. This 9-hole par-3 course optimises these demands. With holes ranging from 58 metres to 160 metres, the ability to hit crisp approach shots and to pitch and putt well, are the secrets of good scoring on this very attractive and manicured course.
Some of the best 18 hole courses in Portugal are within a 30 min drive and bookings can be made at preferential rates at Balaia Reception.
