Situated in an elevated position above the Old Town of Albufeira, this cosy studio has a private south easterly facing balcony enjoying the most spectacular views over Albufeira and the sea. An apartment ideal for couples.
It is about a 10-15 minute walk into the Old Town and its beaches. It is part of an established complex with 2 main pools and 1 children's pool, tennis courts, a couple of bars, and a restaurant on site.
Most amenities are within easy reach, public transport is nearby and taxis are very reasonable.

The Algarve region
The Algarve is one of the sunniest places in Europe, with over 3,000 sunshine hours per year. The summers can be hot, but there is usually a refreshing breeze by the coast. Spring and Autumn are ideal times for outdoor pursuits, such as golfing, biking, walking. The winters are mild and very often sunny, but do expect a few rainy days any time between October and March.
The Atlantic coastline offers a spectacular variation of scenery from dramatic limestone cliff formations surrounding tiny coves, to long, flat, sandy beaches ideal and safe for family holidays.
Go inland, and the mountains of Monchique provide a totally different viewpoint (and on some days a totally different climate) to the coastal areas. The terrain here makes it ideal for all types of activities, from off–road biking, hiking and quad biking to walking and simply enjoying the spectacular scenery.
The western facing side of the Algarve is certainly worth a visit. The beaches are beautiful and clean and the scenery fantastic – but be prepared for more wind and colder water! A favourite spot for windsurfers.
Go east of Faro and you will find the Ria Formosa, a protected part of the coast cut off from the sea by sand–spits, forming large areas of marshlands and lagoons teeming with wildlife.
Further east beyond Tavira the coast runs off towards Spain with mile after mile of Golden flat sand.
Albufeira / Windmill Hill area
Albufeira itself is a bustling resort with an abundance of fantastic beaches and coves. There are two parts to the town - The "Old Town" and The "Strip". Although developed over the years the Old Town has retained its charm and character and offers something for all ages. There is a huge choice of good bars and restaurants, a variety of live music and an assortment of shops. Its beaches are long and sandy and if you show up early enough at Fisherman's beach you will be able to watch the fishermen unload their catch. The Strip and the surrounding area is relatively newly developed and is very popular with the young with many bars, restaurants and clubs which line the street. There are some lovely beaches down this end of town including Praia da Oura and Santa Eulalia.
The marina is within walking distance, where there are some bars and restaurants, entertainment in the summer months and a variety of boat/fishing trips on offer.
Go east or west of Albufeira and you will come across mile upon mile of beautiful beaches.
A wide range of activities are available within the area. Golfing, tennis and horse riding are all within a 10 minute drive. Other organised activities such as fishing trips, scuba diving, sailing, safari trips can all be organised from Albufeira. For the children Zoomarine, Krazyworld and other Water Parks are within an easy drive or transport is provided by the parks if booked in advance. There are a variety of watersports on offer at the local beaches.

Faro is the nearest airport - about 40km.

Further details indoors: The apartment is situated on the 3rd (top) floor and consists of an open plan lounge/kitchen and sleeping area with big patio doors opening out onto the south easterly facing balcony overlooking the sea, town and pool area. It is a particularly lovely place to sit day or night to soak up the views and atmosphere.
It is furnished with a double bed, built in wardrobe, sofa bed and coffee table. The kitchen has a 2 ring hob, small oven, toaster and fridge. The separate bathroom has a bath/shower, wc, bidet and sink. There is a table and chairs for the balcony - somewhere to dine al fresco or simply enjoy a glass of wine.

Maid service is weekly. Linen and towels are provided, although guests are asked to bring their own beach/pool towels. Towels and linen are changed weekly.
Changeover day is flexible.
On your day of arrival, the apartment will be ready from 2.30 pm. On departure, you are asked to vacate by 10.30 am.
On booking a 20% non-refundable deposit is payable. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival. A £100 refundable damage deposit is also required at this point. This is refunded within 2 weeks of the end of your holiday, provided all is left in order.
