Apartamento Petunia is situated mid-way between Albufeira’s quaint Old Town and the Strip. It has a separate bedroom with two single beds, and in addition two double sofabeds in the living area, which also boasts satellite TV. There are local cafes and a mini-mart close by and within 10 mins walk you can find all necessary amenities including the fabulous beach and a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops.
Our other identical apartment, Apartamento Rosa is right next door so please ask us for more details about renting both homes together.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
Albufeira takes its name from the Moorish word Al-Buhera, or Castle-by-the-Sea, and despite the famous earthquake of 1755 it has managed to retain some of its original Moorish features. The Moors turned it into a prosperous port trading with North Africa, and following the Christian re-conquest of the town in 1250, it developed into a quaint little fishing village typical of the Algarve. Albufeira is now a popular resort with good restaurants, bars, long avenues of shops and beaches that rank amongst the best in Europe.
Summers are hot and dry and winters are mild with hardly any rain. Temperatures range from 15ºC in January up to 28ºC or more in July and August.
Albufeira / Oura Beach area
Albufeira is a "once upon a time" fishing village known for its lovely beaches, numerous shops, bars and fine restaurants. Its quaint town square is an ideal place to relax with a drink and watch the world go by. There is always something to see, whether it’s the square’s famous Charlie Chaplin statue, the Pierrots and street artists or the haunting sounds of the pan pipes. If that’s just too relaxing for you, follow the cobbled streets and search out a bargain at the local boutiques and handicraft shops.
Albufeira is a family friendly environment, with children welcome in restaurants and bars, water parks nearby and zoomarine within a short distance by road.
For those wanting a busy nightlife visit the new part, known locally as “the strip” with lots of bars, clubs and discos with excellent music. Another popular tourist attraction is Albufeira’s New Marina, only 1.5kms away and harbouring over 400 boats with many shops, bars and restaurants.
For the golf lover the nearest course is Balaia Golf Village approx. 2.5 kms away with many top courses within easy reach.

Further details outdoors: The apartment is on the second (top) floor, hence you can be assured of no noise from above. The shared pool, with free sun beds, is for the use of residents only and provides a safe environment for relaxation. The apartments provide a welcoming holiday base for families and couples alike. All necessary amenities are within 10 mins walk.

To make a provisional booking please supply your name and address, Telephone No., Email Address and No. Adults / Children. To confirm the booking you need to pay a deposit of 20% (minimum £100 / 150 euros) within one week. We will then send formal confirmation of your booking by email, and the final balance will be due 6 weeks before arrival. For stays of two or three weeks, maid cleaning service with fresh linen is provided weekly at no extra cost.
