The Albufeira area
Albufeira originally a small fishingtown is now a small city where one can find almost anything. The famous Oura Strip offers an array of shops,restaurants and cosy bars. The old town Albufeira and fishermans beach still give a glimpse of the past with more traditional shops and restaurants. Around Albufeira you will find the Algarve shopping in Guia where you can shop till you drop. There also are water and themeparks where one can have a great family day out,most of the parks offer transport from Albufeira to the parks.

No indoor heated pool which we paid extra for.... no beach bar...no information about local shops doctors etc...not for people with walking difficulties... a mile from the nearest shop and restaurant. Had to get taxis everywhere...no oven...Owner said he would come and see me last day didn't show up. Taxi was late picking us up. |
