The Algarve region
The Algarve is one of the world's most attractive holiday destinations. It is not over-developed and the coastline with its miles of golden beaches, dunes and coves enclosed by rocks and cliffs remains completely unspoilt. A few miles inland and life is much as it has been for centuries, with orchards, farmland and green meadows. Towards the hills there are terraces dotted with almond and fig plantations. The mediterranean plants and trees put on a magnificent show throughout the year and there are plenty of nature parks and sanctuaries along the whole of the Algarve that attract many animals and birds. The Moors left a considerable legacy which can still be seen today in the medinas, fortresses and mosques they left behind as well as being reflected in the traditional Algarvian architecture and the way of life of the people. The Algarve region is blessed with a wonderful climate, ideal for swimming, sunbathing and water sports in summer, and mild enough in spring, autumn and winter for tennis, golf, clifftop or countryside walking, exploring and sightseeing. Places of interest include the region's capital Faro and its old town, Loule and its market situated in a recently renovated Moorish building, Silves and its red fortress, Caldas de Monchique for its thermal waters, Portimao and its old town and port, Lagos for its vitality and historical interest and Cabo de S. Vicente with its imposing light-house.
Albufeira / Vale de Parra area
The Vale de Parra region is located around 4kms west of Albufeira and combines all aspects of a holiday you could ask for. Vale de Parra has superb sandy beaches ranging from the large expanses of sand at Gale to the cove beaches at Castelho.
There are many excellent restaurants and the small town of Guia, close to the villa, is famous for its choice of restaurants catering for all tastes and pockets. Sporting facilities are plentiful, including golf at Salgados, and there are waterslide parks and the Zoomarina within the area. Albufeira itself is a bustling resort with an excellent sandy beach.
The centre retains its traditional character and there is a wide choice of nightlife, shops, bars and restaurants.

You will be met by Bonnie or Louise who can help with any advice you may need, book excursions for you or just be at hand for any emergencies. Welcome packs for food and drink can be arranged. Contact for information and prices. We are able to provide cot, pram, highchair etc for hire. Also a personally selected baby welcome pack with english products can be arranged to help with the ease of travelling with babies. Please ask.
Conditions
Refundable breakages deposit of £150 is required on arrival, to be refunded on your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). A non-refundable deposit of 25% of rental fee required to secure booking. Balance payment is due 6 weeks before the start of the rental period.
