This two bedroom apartment has a very large terrace with spectular views and is south facing its just moments away from restaurants, bars, supermarkets and a golden beach with all kinds of water sports.There a short walk to nice and quiet coves for that chill factor.The apartment offers the full active beach holiday or the quiet chill out holiday because of its location and is central for exploring the algarve and surrounding towns and villages.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The algarve is known for its weather and golden sandy beaches of which theres over a 100 miles that run along the coastline.The larger beaches have lifeguard patrols on in the summer months and bars cafes and restaurants that offer excellent food and cold drinks.The beaches are free to use however there is a small charge for the hire of sunloungers and parasols.The roman walled city of lagos is only a short drive up the coast and still retains its cobbled streets and streetside cafes this city dates back to 200 bc. Central algarve has more championship golfcourses than any other country in europe and also roman ruins dateing back to 200bc.The area is also famous for its wine and there are daily trips around the vineyards and you can sample the wines.


Albufeira / Balaia area

The location of the penthouse is ideally located for the active holiday or the quiet romantic holiday as its on a residential street.There is the famous Zoo marine with its interactive dolphins and water slides and seallion show only 5 minutes away can be accessed by its own bus service.Aqua land is the oldes and largest water park in portugal and is open from march to october each year its a great day out for all the family old or young.
The beaches of olhos de agua hold the blue flag award of europe which means not only are the beaches clean the water is also.The beach of olhos de agua is proteted by the beautiful rocks and cove and offers water sports all summer.The old town of albufeira is 10 minutes away and still retains its quaint houses and bars the square is the hotspot with its international bars and restaurants open all year around.The village of pera holds a sand festival every year and artists from all over the world take part it opens in june and ends in october.Albufeira holds festivals from march until october from music to the famous sardine festival.
