Home description
A beautifully equipped gated condominium. This fantastic brand new apartment has panoramic and pool views from a large balcony (midday, afternoon and evening sun) accessible from either the lounge/diner or one bedroom.There is a huge balcony to the east too (morning sun). There are two private reserved parking spaces in the garage (accessible via an electrically operated up and over large door) beneath the apartment with a choice of either a lift or stairs to take you to our place on the ground floor. The accommodation is finished and furnished to a very high standard and includes everything you would want and need to make your perfect holiday. The huge roof terrace has sea views and a Bar Be Que area (and sink with tap water) with views of the sun setting over the sea, accessible by stairs or lift.
Golf galore, swim with the Dolphins at Zoo Marine, many beaches, water parks, restaurants, shops, cinema supermarkets and more.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve has great weather nearly all year round and the average temperature is some 8 degrees C higher than that in the UK. The main part of the season is from the end of March to the beginning of October. Though we have had many hot and sunny days outside this period. The Old Town Albufeira has a great history and is beautiful at night and during the day time, there are many restaurants, bars, shops, street stalls and often has musicians and entertainers performing in the streets. This beautiful complex is close to many restaurants. There is a supermarket some 150 metres away which is very hany (no more big grocery shopping trips). It has plenty of things you can do within the complex, Swimming, Squash, games room, Sauna etc, but it is far enough away from the "hubbub" for you to enjoy a great relaxing time either on our large balcony, the roof terrace, or by one of the two pools. We often start the day with a cuppa on our balcony, followed by a leisurely stroll to get a full english breakfast just 10 minutes away en route to the beach, which is about 1000 metres away. There are beach bars, showers, sun loungers etc on the beach and when you are feeling a bit more energetic you can get involved with the water sports at the beach.
Albufeira / Montechoro area
Albufeira is quite close to Vilamoura, also great for sports enthusiasts and golfers. It has a beautiful marina with another selection of restaurants and boutiques, numerous bars, discos and casino. Swim with the Dolphins at Zoo Marine! You should experience no problems with mobile phone reception, particularly on Orange and O2. Portugal is in the same time zone as the UK so there is no need to change your clocks.
How to get there
Faro airport is accessible from nearly all British airports. Airlines include EasyJet.com, flyMonarch.com, Ryanair.com, Thompsonfly.com, Thomascook, TapPortugal etc. We had a taxi for 4 in July 2008 from Faro airport to our apartment for about £20 with www.algarve-airport-shuttle-transfer.com. When you are there, you do not need a car. An all day bus and land train pass was 3 euros for the day, but loads of things are within short walking distance of the apartment. The big name car hire companies are all over the Algarve, plus others less known, handy if you change your mind when you're there..

Further details indoors: The condominium is really easily found from Faro airport. It is unique, in that it can be described as "Away from it all" but also "close to shops,restaurants,beaches & transport". There is a supermarket just 2 minutes stroll away. The famous "Strip" with bars, restaurants, shops etc, 7 minutes stroll away. Bus stop 2 minutes stroll away. Taxi rank 5 minutes stroll away. Zoo marine, Algarve shopping centre and water parks less than 10 minutes ride away. Marina and old town 4 minutes ride away. It is situated away to one side from all this, not in the middle of it.
Further details outdoors: Our friends, Allison and Tony offer you great tours, champagne cruises, dolphin watching, Zoo Marine where you can book to swim with the Dolphins. They can arrange almost anything, even a trip to Gibralta or Saville. We give you their details when you book. Algarve Shopping is the biggest commercial centre of the Algarve, 10 minutes drive, its complex offers a wide range of shops, an hypermarket, 9 cinema screens (films in English), ten-pin bowling and fast food including KFC, McDonalds and Pizza Hut. Many other restaurants too.

All bed linen bath and hand towels supplied, pool/beach towels not included. In addition, for a fifth and six occupant, there is an extra charge of £10 each as standard.
If clean linen/towels and apartment cleaning is required during your stay, please request when booking. This will carry an extra cost of £60.
Conditions
Bookings are taken either by phone or email. A £150 non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure the booking. A further £125 is taken as security to cover any damage, although this should be refunded in full as we expect occupants to treat the property with respect. All occupants must abide by the condomium's good behaviour rules as stated inside the front door.

We had a fantastic holiday in this superb apartment in the beautiful Algarve. Everything we could wish for was in easy reach, with a supermarket, restaurants and shops all a short walk away. The apartment itself is exceptionally clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated really secure Apartment which is a real peace of mind on holiday! Our children loved the pool, had fun in the games room and even played squash. The beaches are clean, the sea is great for snorkelling and there are lots of caves to explore. If you are feeling adventurous there are some excellent water parks and Zoomarine is well worth a visit. We all had the opportunity to swim with the dolphins, which really was an amazing experience. Reg and Lesley the owners, were friendly, helpful and provided us with lots of useful information before and during our stay. It was also great that they provided us with a contact in Portugal, incase of emergencies. All in all we would recommend this holiday accommodation and the Algarve itself and hopefully will return again another year, Thank You.

Both Sharon and myself had a surprisingly relaxing holiday with the kids being kids and as demanding as they are. We can recommend to anyone who has children that they are not going to be disappointed for things to do and places to visit. We spent most days in the morning on the beach, they are superb, clean and tidy, most of the time playing football and playing in the breakers. Being a little more adventurous we made a visit to the ZooMarine to see the Dolphins, although we didn't swim with them, I would say it's a must if you don't go anywhere else on your holiday. During the evening there are many places within walking distance to find a cozy place to eat, the atmosphere in Albufeira is lively. The late night shopping at the Algarve shopping Mall is good too. We do have to say what made the holiday complete is the location and the standard of the apartment. We don't think that you could stay in a more secure and well though out building with all the amenities, especially the pool for all of us with a Super market just minutes down the road. So it remains for us to say a big thanks and hope to go back some day and swim with those dolphins. The Blakemore’s 2007.
