Beautiful 1 bedroom apartment located in the sought after Sesmarias area on the outskirts of Albufeira, as featured in ITV's "I Want That House Revisited". Set in landscaped gardens you can relax in peaceful surroundings by the swimming pool, or if you prefer a little more privacy you have your own very large private South facing terrace with magnificent sea views and sun all day, perfect for al-fresco dining with built in barbecue. The location is perfect for families, couples, individuals or groups of golfers. The beaches of Castelo and Evaristo are a 5 minute walk, there are an abundance of first class restaurants in the area, most within walking distance. Salgados golf course is a 5 minute drive, as are the new Marina at Albufeira and more glorious beaches at Gale, San Rafael, Coelha and Salgados. There is a local bus stop close by to take you into the main town of Albufeira, or taxis are cheap and efficient if you do not wish to hire a car.

Kitchen: Fully fitted and equipped kitchen including oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle plus a full range of utensils, crockery, glassware, pans and linen. The boiler provides constant hot water at all times.
Utility Room: Newly installed safe to keep your belongings.
Living Room: Spacious lounge/dining room with SKY TV (satellite with UK channels), dvd, cd/cassette/radio, double & single sofabeds, dining table and seating for 6, air conditioning/heating and doors to same private terrace off the bedroom, very large south facing, sun all day.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: Towels, t-towels and linen provided (including beach towels).

Landscaped communal gardens and swimming pool with sunbeds provided (shared between only 14 apartments). Gardens and condominium fully enclosed with remote gated entrance so safe for children. Very large private south facing sun terrace with built in BBQ and patio furniture provided (similar to photos). Secure parking. Car hire available.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Steeped in history and reknowned for it's micro climate and year round sunshine, the Algarve is an ideal holiday destination as it has something for all. With fabulous beaches, championship golf courses, shopping centres, boutiques and gipsy markets, not forgetting an abundance of restaurants with all types of fine cuisine on offer. If you've never been before, I'll guarantee you'll be back again!

The Albufeira / Sesmarias Albufeira area

Coast/Beach
Castelo and Evaristo beaches 3 minutes walking distance, Coehlo beach 5 minutes walk and many more only a 5 minute drive.

Golf
Nearest golf course is Salgados which is only a 5 minute drive. One of the newest on the Algarve it presents quite a challenge as it features many water hazards as the course is built on reclaimed land. Many other courses are within a short drive including The Old Course, Millennium, Laguna, Pinhal and the newly opened Victoria at Vilamoura, the Ocean and Royal at Vale do Lobo, San Lorenzo, Quinta North, Quinta South and Pinheiros Altos at Quinta do Lago.

Travel
Distance from Faro airport 25 minutes drive with easy access straight off motorway (IP1/A22). Nearest railway station (Ferreiras) 15 minutes drive. Local bus route nearby. Taxis cheap and efficient. Car not essential but recommended. Car hire can be arranged at discounted rates if required.

Distances
Albufeira 5 minutes drive. Algarve shopping centre 10 minutes drive. Vilamoura 15 minutes drive. Vale do Lobo/Quinta do Lago 20 minutes drive.

Further details
A whole range of excursions and leisure activities can be booked locally including water parks, Zoomarine, scuba-diving, fishing, sailing, horse riding, bicycle/moped hire and much more. For those who enjoy painting, the rugged coastline, sandy beaches, umberella pines and natural surroundings are perfect for outstanding compositions, and all within a few minutes walk.

“Spacious sunny terrace with wonderful sea views” Beautiful and well equipped apartment. The welcome pack provided was much appreciated as it got our holiday underway without having to worry about getting food/drink supplies in. The apartment is in a quiet and secure spot in well manicured grounds and lovely pool (although unheated). The massive terrace is the main feature as it has beautiful sea views and is sunny for most of the day! Lovely coves/beaches only a few minutes walk away and restaurants are also in the vicinity. The Hapimag store down the road in the neighbouring complex will provide most of the suppliies you need although not the cheapest place to shop. The wildlife lovers amongst you will want to visit the Lagoa Dos Salgados reserve around 2 miles west by Gale beach as it's great for birds, particularly during migration as many birds stop for restbite before making their journey southbound. If you opt for this apartment you won't be disappointed!

“Central quiet get away !” We're a Belgian forthy-ish couple who stayed 4 weeks at this place in summer and had a great time. We drove our own car and explored every bit of the Algarve, the apartment is perfect for that as it is so centrally located. Renting a car is also easy and we're sure Maureen would even help with that, she is the most welcoming host you can wish for. We've rented apts several times already but this was the first time we got a welcoming package and weekly linnen change. The ap is clean, well maintained and bedding is good (I have a terrible back and had no issue at all, which is exceptional). We were always glad to return after our excursions, no worry about the car as there is safe off street parking, a dip in the pool and relax on the immense terrace. Lying in the hammack was heaven, dozing off or reading, there are ample English books in the ap so a good choice for everyone. There is a chilly evening breeze along the coast so you might want to take a sweater for the evenings. We loved the apartment and its seaview !

“Absolutely stunning - perfect apartment in great location!” We've stayed for a week in this beautiful apartment and it made a difference between our holidays being just nice and absolutely fabulous! It is very tidy and clean and you'll find everything you need there, it's literally like home away from home. It has well equipped kitchen and there is a BBQ on the outside terrace where we had dinner almost every day. The terrace itself is worth mentioning - it's very large and has stunning seaviews. The apartment is in small complex and it was very quiet at the end of June so we had swimming pool pretty much for ourselves. Everything is within easy reach in the area, there are 2 large supermarkets about 1 away and there is a small shop in Hapimag resort just 2 minutes down the road. Beaches are also just short walk away. Maureen, the lady-owner has made us very welcome, she personally met us in the apartment despite the fact we arrived at midnight. Thank you very much for great hospitality, we hope to see you next year!

“Superb and peaceful holiday apartment” This is a perfect holiday apartment with absolutey all you would need including a giant sized patio & barbecue with sea views. There are three picturesque beaches to choose from and several good restaurants within walking distance. We have holidayed all along the Algarve since 1974 but this is first class and our favourite, with hospitality second to none.

“well equipped, lovely peaceful location” This apartment is well equipped with all you need for a 'home from home' apartment. The apartment is very clean with large balcony with plenty of outdoor chairs. Two small beaches within walking distance, with larger beaches a short drive away. Some local restaurants and bars (scooby's pool bar) all within walking distance. This aparmtment is ideal location to reach all attractions in algarve by car. The grounds are well maintained and secure parking provided. The welcome pack came in use as we arrived late at night. Coffee,tea,sugar,milk,bread,ham,cheese, water and more all supplied for us. Would highly recommend this apartment.

“Apartment that thinks its a penthouse” Although one bedroom (can sleep more) this apartment has an awesome terrace with a 270 degree panoramic view of the surrounding hills, town and sea, which is not overlooked. It has absolutely everything you would need and sky TV if you cannot bear to miss your programmes from home. It is in well maintained grounds with a superb pool. The temptation to while away the hours in these gorgeous surroundings is strong but we found the three local beaches fantastic. They are all very scenic with a mix of sand, flat rock and a 'playful' sea. Each has a terraced restaurant which fit sympathetically into their surroundings with a range of refreshments for all budgets. Jugs of special recipe Sangria are particularly refreshing. There is little in the way of public transport if you want to go further afield but we were there for a week and didn't really feel the need to go elsewhere.
