The furniture and decor of this apartment is second to none. Every mod con is available including extras such as the jacuzzi bath, videocon security, central vacuuming, electric shutters, big balcony with sea view and small breakfast balcony at rear etc. All rooms have full air conditioning.

The master bedroom has a lovely 5 foot double bed, and the twin room also has a third pullout bed. The living room has two big sofas which convert to double beds.

One bathroom has a shower while the other has a shower in the jacuzzi bath.

Cot available for kids and air conditioning included in price.

The quiet garden and terraced area are beautifully landscaped and include a rarely used swimming pool with sun loungers. The pool also has a shower for swimmers. The "kidney" shaped pool has steps into it and is six feet at its deepest.

There are two bright outdoor balconies to the front and rear of the apartment with a sea view to the front. The main balcony is a huge 14 square metres.

The Albufeira / Olhos d'Agua area

Coast/Beach
The beach and promenade at Olhos de Agua is a 5 minute walk away. The larger Falesia, Maria Luisa and Santa Eulalia beaches are only 5 mins drive.

We can arrange airport transfers for €70 return for up to 4 people and €90 for 5- 8 people.

You are 5 minutes in a taxi from the centre of Albufeira's famous "Strip" and a further 2 miles to the charming old town and marina. A 15 minute drive to the east will bring you into the Vilamoura marina area.

Further details
There is a large supermarket at the bottom of the drive 1 min walk away. Bus stop and taxi ranks are just beside the apartment block.
Bars and restaurants are in abundance in the area and are 2 mins walk away. There is a post office and bank nearby.

Watersports are available at the beaches and there is a selection of Waterparks to choose from including the world famous ZooMarine where you can swim with the dolphins. This is an excellent day out for all the family both adults and children.

The area is great for fishing and local boats organise both pleasure and fishing trips.

The local nightlife scene is relaxed and family oriented with shows in all the local hotels including the Oceanus only 2 minutes walk away. The nightlife is much livlier in nearby Albufeira which is only 5 minutes in a taxi.

“'Awesome Birthday Present'” We took our grandaughter for a weeks holiday as her 10th birthday present. Couldn't find an ideal venue with any of the large travel companies, who all wanted to charge me for 2 individual apartments, since I wanted 2 bedrooms, So we booked the apartment and flights seperately. Everything was great. The location and the apartment itself was ideal. Very close to the beach, once we found the shortcut, with a bakery, supermarket and excellent restaurant just round the corner. Main bus route to Albufiera or Vilamoura at the end of the road. Lovely pool and very well appointed apartment. Just remember that to pay anyone in Southern Ireland it needs to be in Euros, which isn't a problem, but came as a surprise.

“A place to come back to” We were very impressed upon arriva and chilled out straight away which was great when a small child is with you!. Brid and Mick and their family have ensured that your stay is a comfortable one and practically everything that you would want in a place to stay and more. For example plenty of towels in the bedrooms and both bathrooms, all the kitchen appliances you would want or need,a good info pack, comfortable beds that you can get a good night's sleep and childrens dvds, toys, books, buckets and spades and cbeebies!!! We would be of the opinion that not only is this apartment suitable for a family but it has everything that a couple or other groups would want in their accomadation. It was nice having breakfast either at the dining table or outside on the terrace although when we didn't eat at the numerous restaurants close by it was lovely eating outside on the terrace with the tipple of your choice!

“Prefect location - Excellent apartment- Seamless Booking” The whole experience from strat to finish was excellent - The condition and facilities at the apartment where fantastic. Transfer and key pickup where arranged , which where all seamless. Could not recommend it highly enough.

“A brilliant place to stay - ideal for a family break away” This apartment is one of the best i have ever stayed in - it is so clean and modern and very well kitted out - especially going there with two small kids. It is very central and only a short stroll to shops and restaurants. I cannot wait to go back next year.

“We keep going back” This apartment is situated in a beautiful, safe and private complex. We have stayed three times and each time with our three children. We thoroughly enjoy our stay and can not wait to get back again to enjoy all that The area has to offer. The apartment itself is very well equipped and homely, a real Jem.

“lovely apartment” the owners of this property made everything simple to book. Good communication throughout from booking to arrival. Apartment is very nice with a great big balcony which is safe for toddlers too !!. in a great location for restaurants, supermarkets and a few shops just a couple of minutes walk. beach is only five minutes walk down a steep hill, or a bit longer taking the easier route..All of my party had a fabulous holiday, and would not hesitate to book this lovely apartment again.

“The best and most enjoyable holiday we ever had. will do again and again.” This hoilday was the most enjoyable time that our family has spent abroad. Felt so safe especially with a young child. every thing is so close including the beach. would recommed to everyone. Zoo marine is a great day out for all the family. “Great Apartment - Location perfect for all types of holiday maker!” I have stayed in this apartment twice over the last 2 years and I would happily recommend it to any person going on holidays. It is located in the heart of the town of Olhos De Agua with lots of nice shops and restaurants within 2 minute walk. The large apartment is fully kitted out with all you need for your stay.

“Spacious, everything at hand, beautiful beach close” Although it was Dec (we stayed until the end of March), the weather was perfect this winter in the Algarve. (but bad for farmers; too dry). The Edificio Somar where Mick & Brid's apartment is in Olhos d'Agua, was ideal for us, having two bedrooms plus two sofa beds in the front room as we had visitors coming and going. The village is walking distance to all amentities, tons of restaurants and a big supermarket. The local cafe is friendly and with good prices for lunch. There are two pharmacies within 5 minutes walk as well as a several travel agents for local and Spanish excurisons as well as car hire. The popular bar & restaurant area of Oura beach is next door (5 minutes in car) on the edge of Albufeira, just far enough. More importantly, the lovely secluded beaches of the area. Fabulous cliffs, and golden sand. Too cold to swim in the winter, but still lovely to stroll and warm enough to play on. The apartment was modern, very big, and well-equipped, we were not short of anything, and everything was new and worked well (tv/satellite/dvd/video and all necessary appliances). Lots of dishes and glasses. Each room had a combination heater-cooler which was great in winter to knock the chill off the evenings. The two bathrooms were very handy, one with bath/shower, the other with a shower stall. The central vac made cleaning simple and fast, and the stone floors easy to clean as well. The big terrace was great all day, with a southern exposure. Might be hot in summer so watch out! Drawbacks: In winter the building is cold, especially with stone floors. The heating was essential. There were too few power outlets in the building, especially the kitchen (strange feature to overlook in a kitchen) so one was always struggling with swapping plugs. Lighting in the kitchen could have been better since we always seemed to be standing in our own light trying to prepare meals. The shower was a bit cramped for larger people. In winter you'll find the back bedroom extremely dark, but this will be an advantage in summer to keep cool. These are principally design issues and nothing to do with the upkeep or furnishings. There were only a few things on the minus side, easily outweighted by the pluses! :) Mick and Brid were ever helpful and kind enough to let us stay long-term. Great holiday.

“Excellent accommodation, ideally situated and very secure” The appartment met all our expectations, situated in a beautiful quiet complex, it was ideally situated for us to explore the Algarve and all it has to offer. We would definitely like to return there sometime.

“Great place for young kids” We had a fantastic time on this holiday. Great apt. Clean and comfy. All mod cons.Very organised owners. Lovely pool and the beach is a 10 min walk (15 min back up the hill). We had 3 small kids who had a great time. Our first holiday abroad with them and thankfully everything went well! We went in June so it wasn't too hot.

“Superb apartment in every way” I stayed in this Apartment on three occasions-2 Weeks in May 2007 +1 Week in October 2010 with my husband and a Week in May 2011 with four friends. I have stayed in many apartments over many years but i would have to say this apartment has been the best iv'e experienced in every way.Its in a delightful location with so many good restaurants within a few mins walk with lovely food vey good value also several really nice coffee shops nearby. The Apartment itself was so lovely spacious bright and so well equiped in every way-everything one would need for luxury holiday accommodation is provided we wanted for nothing..Very peaceful at night in such a nice location with no traffic noise. Being such a big apartment with the two bathroons and the two seperate large sliding doors on to the large balcony one from the living room and one from the main bedroom made it an ideal apartment for the group of five friends the extra large accomodation was a real plus we felt. I would highly recommend this aparrtment to couples,a family or group of friends -it would be hard to find better.

“Highly Recommended” We have been to Olhos d'agua 6 times now and stayed in this apartment twice now, we would not stay anywhere else in the future. It has everything you need and more and feels like your own home when you are there! Location great, spotlessly clean, air con is fantastic and apartment is very roomy.

“Complete Relaxation.” We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay in Olas D'agua. The appartment is ideal for a family with young children. It is very spacious and clean and in a quiet area. Everything you need is within walking distance i.e Supermarket, Chemist, Restaurants. There a 2 beaches within 15 mins walk of the complex and the swimming pool is adequate.
