The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Algarve is famed for its beaches, for the countless shades and tones of its rocks and cliffs. This is a place where people live to the rhythm of the great holiday destinations, sunbathing during the day and at sunset flocking to enjoy the restaurants, bars and discotheques that enliven the night time hours. Just a few miles inland of Algarve and everything changes. The green of the countryside is dotted with almond, fig, orange and pine trees and decorated chimneys stand out against the ochre of tiled roofs. Bucolic villages invite you to experience a way of life rooted in the tranquillity of nature, to add another dimension to your holidays.

The Albufeira / Balaia area

The apartment is in Balaia in Olhos D'Agua close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Algarve outlet shopping centre is about 15 to 20 minutes drive. More than hundreds of shops and a supermarket occupy two levels. Upstairs several restaurants offer food and beverage for every taste and budget. Sufficient parking slots are available even in rush hours. Cinemas and a bowling alley. Opening hours daily from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
There are plenty of restaurant to choose from and they are all walking distance.
Marrachinho supermarket is 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
Maria Lusia beach is 10 minutes walk and Santa Eulalia beach is 20 minutes walk. Santa Eulalia has cliff top restaurant and Maria Lusia has beach bar. There are car parking facilities at the both locations.
Balaia Golf village is adjoining land (9 holes reasonable degree of difficulty for small course) - 10 minutes walk. Pine Cliff is 10 minutes drive.

This Apartment is placed, just 30 minutes from Faro International Airport. Local Taxis and Mini Bus services are available from the Airport. Taxi will cost you around €30 to €35. Other airports. - LISBOA airport is 157 miles north of Albuferia. Sevilla airport (Spain) is 145 miles from Albuferia. Direct flights are available from most UK Airports to the above Airports. “Idyllic location” 5 of us went to celebrate my 40th birthday, we stayed for a week and we had a brilliant time. The apartment is in a nice quiet lovely location within walking distance to shops, the beach and a good choice of restaurants. The apartment was home from home with everything on hand, very clean and well equipped with all mod cons. The owner has made careful thought to make sure your stay is comfortable. The pool area is large, clean and well maintained. I have booked to go back again.
