About the home

Sunny Days is in Club Albufeira which has 4 superb swimming pools + children's pools and 2 restaurants with bars, mini golf, tennis courts, BBQ evenings and entertainment. There is a free shuttle service to town/beach about 2 km. away and an inexpensive bus service at the entrance. For children, the superb Zoomarine and the Aquapark are nearby. A colourful local market is held each week in Albufeira. and there are numerous supermarkets nearby, including Gaia Shopping complex which also has cinemas. Spain and Lisbon are only 2-3 hours drive away. Cliff Richard has a vine yard in the locale.

Club Albufeira's gardens which surround the 4 pools are semi-tropical and well maintained.

There is a mini supermarket on site, a larger one in the campsite opposite and a cheaper with fresh baked break less than 1/2 mile away + Lidl few minutes further on. Larger supermarkets in town at at Gaia shopping.

The 24 hour Reception has internet, telephone, ATM, stamps and the multi-lingual staff can arrange car hire, taxis and discounted green fees at nearby golf courses, as well as information on excursions and activities.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve is famous for its great beaches with the EU Blue flag for cleanliness and safety. The mild climate has little rainfall and plenty of sun. The delicious inexpensive food has choices ranging from local specialities to fast food and international cuisine.
Modern motorways make driving a pleasure with Spain and Lisbon about 2-3 hours away.
The Algarve is of course well know as a haven for golfers with 26 courses, many of professional standard.
Take a trip on a boat, ride, indulge in water sports, fish, sail, cycle or surf or just enjoy a great region for walking and bird watching.

The Albufeira / Club Albufeira area

Albufeira has something for everyone. Beautiful sandy beaches, rugged coves and a pedestrianised seafront. The Old Town has a picturesque quality with quaint narrow cobbled streets lined with shops, bars and restaurants. During the summer it has a great resort atmosphere with buskers and artisan stalls in the street by day and plenty of entertainment at night.

Nearby Gaia has a huge shopping complex with cinema, bowling alley and hypermarket. The "Strip" in Albufeira is exciting for younger holiday makers with Karaoke, British pubs and burgers.

Children are well catered for with Zoomarine where you can swim with dolphins and the local Splash Waterpark.

The lovely village of Monique, Moorish Silves with its castle, Vilamoura marina are easily reached.
