Casa Dos Pais
About the home
Casa Dos Pais has very recently been completely redesigned and renovated to create a beautiful modern villa, with excellent outdoor space, and in a great location. Set back from the road between Vale De Parra and Galé Beach, the villa is within walking distance a couple of supermarkets and a choice of restaurants and a bar, plus it's only a short drive to some great restaurants in Guia, and a little further to Albufeira. There are several beaches to choose from closeby, the nearest is Galé Beach which is 1.5km away from the villa. Next door to Casa Dos Pais is our Casa Dos Avos, making them a great choice for larger groups, or more than one family who wish to holiday together yet enjoy their own space and privacy.
The recent renovation completely transformed the villa from a traditional cottage into a stylish and practical modern villa, whilst keeping the original pretty exterior and gated pool terrace. It's cool and bright interior with sunny rooms and brand new furniture make for an excellent holiday for small families or group of friends.
The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is lovely and bright with lots of natural light and is very tastefully decorated bright colours and modern, high quality furniture. The living space has two white leather sofas, a large flatscreen TV and DVD player as well as complimentary Wi-Fi internet. Between the living area and kitchen is a modern dining table and four chairs. The American-style kitchen is very stylish, with white units, black worktops and chrome appliances including a large fridge-freezer, oven and microwave. There are patio doors leading from the living area to a lovely, wooden pergola covered dining terrace.
There are two bedrooms - one double and one twin - both are light and brightly decorated with large wardrobes and patio doors accessing the garden. The double bedroom has a brand-new en-suite shower bathroom. There's also a house shower bathroom meaning there's a private bathroom for each of the bedrooms if you choose to use them as such.
Outside, there's a lovely covered dining terrace with far reaching views due to its elevated position. Steps lead from here down to a great pool terrace with brand-new luxurious sun-loungers, a poolside shower and a couple of parasols offering some welcome shade.
Casa Dos Pais is a wonderful addition to our portfolio of Portugal villas, and has everything that you wish for in a family villa - great outdoor space, bright, modern interior, and it's in a great location.

Holiday villas in Portugal
A villa holiday in Portugal means staying in one of Europe's warmest countries. Regardless of where you are, you can expect summer temperatures to be above 30°C (35°C in the South) which means our range of coastal resorts are perfect for your stay. You can spend a day at the beach, taking a dip in the Atlantic whenever you feel like cooling off, or hire one of our many villas with swimming pools.
Along with its great climate, Portugal has an absolute wealth of beaches. With over 850 kilometres of coastline, there are a lot of Portuguese beaches to discover, but our villas in Portugal put you within easy reach of some of the best. Portugal is one of the best locations in Europe for a beach holiday when you take a look at what the country can offer holiday makers. Whether you want to take advantage of the beach-bars for a drink, try your hand at some water sports (surfing, jet-skiing, kite-surfing and windsurfing are common activities) or just lounge on the sand, Portugal can provide the perfect place for you to do so.
If you'd rather spend all or part of your holiday delving into Portugal's rich history and culture, then there are plenty of cities and towns throughout the country which offer not only a rich variety of monuments, museums and other places of interest, but also some fantastic views; Portugal is an absolutely beautiful country with plenty to offer the sightseer. There are also large areas of the country that allow the local wildlife to roam undisturbed, and any nature-lovers are sure to enjoy a trip to Peneda-Gerês, the Duoro Valley and Serra da Estrela.
There's also Portugal's golf. Recent years have seen the country become a great destination for fans of the sport, with plenty of Portugal's golf courses ranking amongst the best in Europe. Not only are the courses great for experts and newcomers alike, but they're also designed to allow you to enjoy Portugal's wonderful landscape and views.
Another advantage of our villas in Portugal is being able to take advantage of some of Portugal's festivals, especially the Festival do Sudoeste in the south of the country, which takes advantage of the long stretches of beach and excellent landscapes to put on one of Portugal's most famous and well-received festivals.
If you've got an interest in fashion, then a holiday at our villas in Portugal can be a great chance to pick up some of Portugal's finest offerings. Fairs are the perfect place to pick up unique, handcrafted items, including purses, clothes, glass ornaments and more. There are also some great fashion houses, well-known inside Portugal, that you can find dedicated shops for, or in some of the fashion shops in towns and cities.
Food fans will find themselves spoilt for choice during a villa holiday in Portugal. Soup might not sound like an adventurous dish, but the Portuguese have turned soup-making into an art form. You'll find soups made of fish, sausages, chicken and all sorts of other ingredients, often as the first course to the rest of a delicious meal. The grilled chicken, sardines, veal and pork are all mainstays in Portuguese restaurants. There are also a huge selection of pork, beef, seafood and even wild boar dishes that can be found in restaurants throughout the country. During the meal, Portugal's famous wines are the perfect accompaniment, and a port wine is a great post-meal drink.
We have villas in some of Portugal's best resorts. Why not stay in a villa in Albufeira and enjoy some of Portugal's best beaches? Or enjoy the golfing that villas in Vilamoura offer? Villas in Carvoeiro are a great choice for those looking for somewhere quieter, perfect for fans of beautiful scenery.
The Albufeira area
Albufeira is a lively and historic resort on a beautiful part of the Algarve's curving coastline. Seven gorgeous sandy beaches with dramatic rock formations stretch both east and west of the town - from the long beach of Praia D'Oura to a string of small coves carved out of honey-coloured cliffs. It's still a working fishing town, with boats and the mending of nets on the beach. And the new marina has confirmed Albufeira as a contemporary sailing centre. You can take sailing trips along the coast, try windsurfing and diving, or hire your own boat for a short spin.
Local knowledge
The resort itself is as lively or relaxed as your holiday. There's a historic old town with steep narrow streets and whitewashed buildings - and a lively party strip for sparkling nights in bars and clubs. More relaxed evenings centre around waterfront restaurants - with Portuguese regional cooking, cafés and bars with lovely Algarve wines. There's lots of great shopping in Albufeira too - with traditional Portuguese design and weekly specialist markets. The Algarve is famous for its world-class golf courses and there are three great courses a short drive from Albufeira. The area around Albufeira is as beautiful as its beaches. There are lots of walks and inland the countryside has gorgeous views back out to sea.
