A beautiful ground floor apartment which directly overlooks the magnificent main pool and recreation area of the Orada Apartments situated at the new Albufeira Marina. Our apartment is the largest one bedroom unit on the resort and more spacious than several of the two bedroom units. The enclosed end position and shrub bordering makes the terrace very private yet you are only a few steps from the main pool area and the kids can be easily supervised from the terrace. Orada Apartments are repeatedly rated 5 stars by previous guests on Tripadvisor.com so whether you choose to relax and sunbathe in the beautiful landscaped garden areas, chill out in the pool or stroll down to the Marina to Wine & Dine, this is a location that is hard to beat. The quaint Old Town of Albufeira is approximately a 15 minute walk away.

The Algarve region
The Algarve is the Portuguese equivalent to the American Florida or southern California. The sun and sea dominate the atmosphere of the Algarve, bestowing on it the ideal qualities of a holiday paradise and making it the "Garden of Portugal". The area has over one hundred miles of the finest beaches in Europe and enjoys around three hundred days of sunshine a year. The region is dotted with Moorish villages with white washed houses. Between these ancient towns are modern resorts catering to tourists.
One such resort is the town of Albufeira which is arguably the most popular Algarve destination for holiday makers. This is because of its established infrastructure and tourist attractions. Many tourist attractions like Zoomarine (the only place in Europe where you can swim with Dolphins), Slide & Splash Water Park, Aquashow Family Park, Jeep Safari's, Sea Cruises and water sports too numerous to mention have sprung up and are easily accessible from Albufeira.
Every town of any size has a permanent covered market, which opens every day except Sunday from 8am until around 1pm. There are usually separate areas for wet fish and for fruit and vegetables and some have butcher’s shops around the perimeter of the market hall. Larger markets also have stalls selling home-baked breads, cheeses, etc. Markets attract gypsies and peasant farmers who set up ad hoc stalls in the nearby streets and sell absolutely anything. Albufeira has a large market next door to Lidl and very close to the Marina complex.
Albufeira / Albufeira Marina area
The Albufeira Marina is a tourism and leisure complex, which has been built in line with the highest standards and specifically designed to be enjoyed year-round. Restaurants on the Marina include Italian, Traditional Portuguese, Fish, Seafood and Sushi providing relaxing and romantic dining.
Activities like Daily Cruises, Cave Exploration, Diving, Parasailing, Jet Skis, B.B.Q and Sunset Cruises, Big Game and Reel Fishing can be booked on the Marina.
The complex is serviced by the Giro bus link leaving every 30 minutes from a stop just 50 metres from the reception area. 2007 saw the introduction of a tourist train which runs every 30 minutes from the marina to the Old Town. Other transfers can be arranged at reception to locations like Algarve Shopping for around €5
Just 30 minutes from Faro airport and a stone’s throw from the charming old centre of Albufeira, is located one of the most attractive and bold architectural developments built in Portugal in recent times. Idyllically located on a coastal plain surrounded by low hills, this low residential density development is set in 65 hectares of land. Over half of this area is covered by landscaped gardens and paved pedestrian paths sheltered by many lines of trees; another 20% of the area is occupied by the lake and the Marina’s wharf. Overall, less than a third of the total development area is taken up by buildings, streets and parking spaces.

Faro Airport is just 30 minutes away.

A DVD / Media Player player is available with around 90 pre-recorded features including Film, Kids, Comedy, Music Video and Documentary to cover all tastes. The player will also play CD's and DVD's containing MP3 and WMA music files so why not burn some of your favourites to CD before your holiday to make you feel even more at home when you arrive. A tuner / amplifier is also available to listen to radio like the local english speaking KissFM station. Please keep volume levels at a reasonable level and respect your neighbours.
A selection of books and magazines (English) are available in the apartment and other reading material in various languages is available to borrow from the reading room in reception. We would ask that if a guest needs to borrow a book to finish it, they simply leave a book in it's place for follow on guests.
The lounge has one Z type sofa bed and the second sofa that can also be used for sleeping.
Telephone connects to reception, an outside line is not available.

. Accommodation is self catering; rates include a weekly linen and towel change for stays in excess of seven days. Guests should bring their own beach towels.
A mid week clean, if required can be arranged if booked and paid for in advance.
A welcome pack containing essentials like Bread, Butter, Milk (semi skimmed), 5 ltr. bottle of water, tea, coffee, sugar, ham, cheese, seasonal salad item and seasonal fruit can be booked in advance if required at a cost of €30.
Conditions
Bookings can only be confirmed once a cleared deposit has been received.
Check in time is from 15:00 onwards. The apartment needs to be vacated no later than 10:00am to facilitate cleaning for the next guest arrival.
