About the home

The villa is located in the Jardins da Branqueira just 5 minutes drive from the beach, on the outskirts of the town of Albufeira often referred to as one of Albufeira´s best kept secrets. Quiet and peaceful, the villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out and bars also.

The villa benefits from its own private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning garden and pool views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With four double bedrooms, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

LOUNGE
Spacious lounge dining room 39m2,with 1 ample sofa, dining table and 8 chairs, flat screen LCD television, 1 large picture windows over looking the pool and garden, patio doors to balcony.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with Edesa appliances dishwasher, hob, fan assisted oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, saucepans and cooking utensils, fully fitted units.

SLEEPING
The sleeping arrangements provided are 4 bedrooms in which two are on suite. Two bedrooms with king size double beds and two bedrooms with two single beds.

ENTERTAINMENT
The entertainment consists of a HD flat screen LCD television mounted on the wall which receives several English TV channels, a DVD player, CD player with radio and Internet Access Wi-Fi (wireless).

BATHROOMS
The bathrooms have bath with overhead showers, wc, bidet, sink and under sink storage cabinet, shaving/hair-dryer sockets, hairdryer, marble counter tops, large wall mirror. All bath towels are provided but we do not provide beach towels.

BEDROOMS
The bedrooms have super king size double beds and single beds, fitted floor to ceiling wardrobes, chest of drawers with mirror over, bedside tables with lamps, full length mirror, air conditioning units for cooling and heating, electric shutter for window which overlooks the garden, patio doors to balcony, security safe.

POOL
Sunbeds along the pool for whoever wants to use, and also sun umbrellas to keep out of the sun, and give you some sun protection with shade. Security guard rail provided if necessary to prevent children from going into the pool, with no extra charge.

PRIVATE PARKING
Private parking in garage for two cars and plenty more space in sourounding area inside the complex.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The former fishing village of Albufeira has expanded since the 1960s into one of the Algarve’s major holiday resorts and now has over 16.000 permanent residents. During the summer the old centre of the town with its plentiful collection of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants is filled-up with tourists from all over the world.

Albufeira is surrounded by some of the best known beaches from Praia da Falésia in the east to Praia de S. Rafael in the west.

The name of Albufeira goes back to the times of the Moorish occupation Al-Buhera when it became an important trading port in the 8th century.

Every day you have Boat Trips to the caves along the coast, Fast boat riding, Boat trips to see Dolphins in the sea, Scuba diving, Professional sport fishing and Sailing. Closest beach only 5 minutes away.

The nearest airport is Faro being a 20 minute drive away where low cost airlines like, Easy Jet, British Airways, BMI, Thompson, Ryan air and Aer Lingus have regular year round flights from the UK available. All can be booked on line and Lisbon is only a 2.5 hour drive away.

We can arrange airport transfers for you where the driver meets you in arrivals at the airport holding a name board, but this service is paid separately and directly to the driver. Or you can hire car to be at the airport for when you land. Although a car is not essential, but I would recommend it to see the sights and places of interest around the area of Albufeira.

Driving directions
Driving on the A22 and from Faro to Albufeira, you get out on Albufeira and on the 125 road and turn right on the first stop lights, left on first round about and then right 1,5 kms ahead.

“Excellent” The appartment was spacious, in a good area, We enjoyed the swimming pool a lot! The only thing which was annoying was the dog which started to bark around 21H00. Response: Hi again We are very happy to here you enjoyed your stay at our villa in Albufeira. We are also sorry for the barking dog. There aren`t any present dogs all year round, near the villa, that we know of. But what we do have sometimes, are people coming on holidays to nearby villas bringing there pets along, and this might have been the situation. That`s why we always ask our guests to keep in touch with us so we can solve these minor issues. I simple phone call could have been enough to solve this issue. Thanks for you opinion.
