Exceptionally spacious luxury 2 Bedroom Apartment on exclusive and peaceful Complex just outside Albufeira Old Town. Very well equipped including Ensuite bathroom complete with Jacuzzi bath and additional shower room. All rooms have patio doors and shutters with balconies, with the lounge having a large terrace complete with built-in BBQ. Features include Air-con in the bedrooms, 2 TVs and integrated music systems. There's a large communal Pool plus paddling pool with terrace and decking areas with exclusive use of our own dedicated sunbeds. A full sized tennis court is also on site (racquets and balls provided) with Bars, Restaurants and a Supermarket within easy walking distance. Everything you need is provided should you choose to eat in, the fully fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher and microwave in addition to a gas hob, oven and full sized fridge/freezer. A washing machine is also provided. The large lounge/dining room leads directly onto the west facing terrace, there you will find the built-in barbecue, rattan dining table and loungers, perfect for evening al-fresco dining whilst watching the sunset over the hills opposite. A log burner is situated in the lounge for those cool off-season evenings. There are further balconies off the kitchen and both bedrooms, which have the benefit of the sun throughout the morning and overlook the attractive gardens towards the pool area.
The apartment is ideally situated therefore for a relaxing break, but you also have the best of both worlds with the peaceful complex being far enough away from the madding crowds but still only a 20 minute walk (or 2 minutes drive) from the lively Old Town of Albufeira. The rooms are all very spacious and both bedrooms are equipped with full sized wardrobes with excellent storage. The Master Bedroom is equipped with a king-size bed and En-suite bathroom complete with Jacuzzi bath, shower and bidet unit. A safe is provided and tea and coffee making facilities are provided to save a trip to the kitchen. Patio doors lead out onto the west facing terrace with its sub-tropical plants and rattan garden furniture.
There is a second shower / toilet room and the 2nd bedroom comes with double or twin beds, fitted wardrobes and a sunny south-east facing balcony complete with garden lounger. A wall mounted flat screen TV and DVD is also installed in the 2nd bedroom - ideal maybe for the kids at bedtime! Both bedrooms are installed with the latest inverter air-conditioning units.
The lounge is provided with a large flat screen TV and DVD player and an integrated sound system throughout. A selection of DVDs, inc childrens will be found for your use, in addition to a selection of books, toys, and games.

This is a very spacious property with every facillty you'll need for a comfortable stay with completely separate living, cooking and sleeping areas. Farm Village is a small but safe, exclusive complex, kept spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. Its location offers a relaxing and peaceful ambience, but the Old Town and beaches are just a 20 minute stroll via the recently constructed safe walk/cycle way. Alternatively there are regular buses or a taxi will only cost about €5. Should you have a car you're ideally situated to explore the rest of the wonderful Algarve, or even into Spain - the beautiful city of Seville is less than 3 hours away! (Or take a coach tour -approx €20).
The apartment benefits from morning and afternoon sun with balconies off the second bedroom and kitchen - ideal for an al-fresco breakfast. The spacious west terrace is planted with sub-tropical plants and equipped with a rattan style dining table and loungers, and built-in BBQ. - making it ideal for watching the sunset whilst enjoying your meal.

The Algarve region
With over 300 days of sunshine every year and over 100 miles of dramatic coastline, the southern tip of Portugal known as the Algarve makes the ideal destination for a holiday in the sun. Many of its famous sandy beaches have been awarded the EU blue flag for cleanliness and safety so it's great for families. Many secluded coves and beaches can be found a short distance away, in addition to the large beaches in and around Albufeira.
You certainly wont go hungry in the Algarve! There is an enormous selection of restaurants throughout the region, which range from very reasonably priced Portuguese restaurants specialising in excellent fresh grilled fish, wonderful salads and a wide range of seafood, to mid priced international restaurants and more expensive gourmet cuisine. We have our very own popular Portuguese restaurant right on the doorstep called the Cocheira, famous for its wide selection of wines.
Golfers will already be aware of the fabulous range of championship standard courses many of which are within a 30 minute drive of this apartment.
The Algarvians are friendly, honest, courteous and very child-friendly people who will make you feel very welcome.
The beautiful cities of Seville and Lisbon are both less than 3 hours drive, or why not take a coach tour, costs in the region of €20.
Alternatively there are tours to the beautiful Western Algarve, Tavira to the east or up to Monchique in the hills.
For brilliant days out with the family, must visits are "ZooMarine" with their wonderful dolphins and birds of prey etc, including fun rides and large pools etc., alternatively the Aqualand park, both within 20 minutes drive (or take a coach tour - a Ticket Office is conveniently situated in the Old Town).
The busy old town of Albufeira is a charming holiday resort with a daily market, selling handicrafts and jewellery. There are far too many bars and restaurants to mention, you'll find any kind of cuisine you fancy, so the evenings can be spent sipping the local vinho or sangria over a tasty meal - el fresco of course, watching and listening to the many street entertainers and festivals. Many of the bars feature live music, or if it's nightlife you want the 'Oura Strip', famous for its bars, pubs and nightclubs is easily reached from the Old town by taxi or by land train which runs a continuous loop.
Farm Village/Quinta dos Calicos is very conveniently situated just 20 minutes walk or 3 minutes drive from the Old town via a safe purpose built walk/cycleway. A further 5 minutes walk will take you to the beautiful Fishermans beach, alternatively there are numerous other smaller more secluded beaches also a short drive away. A taxi into town costs approx 5 Euros and there's a very regular public bus service a short walk from the apartment. The shoreline, particularly going west from the Old Town, is brilliant for walkers and ramblers where you'll encounter numerous beaches and rocky coves. And virtually every beach seems to have its very own cafe/beach shack!
The low rise apartments of the complex are spaciously positioned on the hillside giving great views of the local area and the landscaped pool/decking area give lots of room to sunbathe as well as swim.
You can take a break from your long day in the sun by obtaining drinks and ice-creams or sampling the great food at the on-site bars and restaurants, alternatively a short stroll down the road there's the friendly Cocheira Portuguese restaurant with its pretty terrace, great value menus and daily specials.
The Ali-Super supermarket with a good range of everyday products is just 10 minutes walk from the apartment, together with more cafe's and take-aways.

"Fantastic Apartment wonderful holiday"
We stayed in apartment AB which a wonderful apartment, high specification and very comfortable. The three balconies made this apartment special; you were able to enjoy the weather all day. The kitchen was very well appointed and the whole apartment is very spacious. The complex was all to a very high standard and very clean.
The pool was superb and having your own loungers a bonus. Much attention has been given to this complex and it is very attractive.
The local restaurant is highly recommended with good food and pleasant staff, the local supermarkets are well stocked and the restaurants in Alberferia are very good. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.

"Lovely apartment, lovely complex close to everything you need"
My husband & I had a lovely week with two of our children (both in their early 20's) at this apartment.
Having stayed there as a couple last year we knew what to expect. We were pleased to find improvements had been made the main one being airconditioning to the bedrooms. The complex has a lovely pool (& childrens pool) which had the added bonus of the apartments own private sunbeds which means you are never left searching for a bed or having to lay on your towel.
There is Wifi in the restaurant close to the apartment but this cannot be picked up from the apartment.
Melanie, who takes care of changeovers/access was very proffessional & everything ran smoothly on arrival/departure & throughout our stay.
There is a well stocked supermarket just down the road from Farm Village easily reached on foot & there are also a couple of excellent restaurants also within walking distance.
Providing you are well on your feet & don't mind the heat, it's a very pleasant walk to the Old Town where there are many excellent restaurants & also a lovely beach.
Would I return here?......well I already have & shall almost definitely use this apartment again next year.

We're glad you liked the improvements, esp the brand new air-conditioning, and hope you'll approve of the changes we plan for the Autumn, which will be mainly cosmetic to add more colour (rugs and pictures, etc). In our experience small things like soap dispensers make all the difference, so we'll be adding even more similar touches to make it a home from home. Hopefully see you next year!

"Looking for a great base to explore Albuferia, clean modern and well equipped apartment?LOOK NO FURTHER!"
Visited this apartment with two friends (all in our late 20's.) We were looking for sunshine, good food, wine and relaxation, and were not disappointed! We arrived quite late in the evening after hiring a car from the airport, but this didn't seem to be a problem as we had informed of flight details beforehand. The apartment block is approx 30-40mins drive from Faro airport. The apartment was much larger than I was expecting, spotlessly clean and well equipped including built in barbeque, corner sofa, huge TV and tupperware! The two rooms were both of a good size with private balconies, and the lounge diner very comfortable for relaxing in the evening or meals in. Have visited apartments in the past with nothing but a one ring burner, rusty fork and a microwave but this accomodation was the complete opposite! We did end up eating out most evenings as there were so many options - a 20 minute walk down well lit path into albuferia centre (think bright lights, jazzy cocktails and beachfront seafood) or the cafe attached to apartment block (good value grub and fantastic mojitos at half the price of the town) or down the road to la Cochiera with a wide selection of wines and traditional portugese fayre. During the daytime, relaxing by the tranquil (if a little chilly!) pool was the order of the day, or a 10 minute drive down to one of many cove beaches - Albuferia has a large sandy beach, but the surrounding beaches (Raphael being a popular one) are quieter but with the facilities you would expect from a larger beach (i.e loos and carparking!) The local supermarket was also really handy just a short walk from the block for essentials like bread milk, and daily icecreams! If you like your apartment next to McDonalds above a nightclub don't come here. But if you good value, modern self catering accomodation in quiet, clean and comfortable location with good access to great beaches and active nightlife just a stones throw away, I suggest you book now!

We bought the apartment partly because of the location which offers the best of both worlds, i.e. peaceful complex but walking distance to the hustle and bustle of Old Albufeira. The Brasileira restaurant on site really is excellent, as are the other restaurants and shops nearby. And we're glad you appreciated the general cleanliness and good facilities - we're really lucky to have an excellent management and cleaning team taking care of the apartment. By the way, re 'chilly pool' comment, the vast majority of outside pools in the Algarve are unheated and rely on the warmth of the sun to warm up! Great guests, you'll be most welcome should you wish to visit again.
