This one bedroom apartment is set in a quiet and relaxing resort. The spacious lounge area has a settee, coffee table & an open fire. It also has a TV viewing area with seats for several people, cable TV & DVD for those quiet nights in. The dining area has a dining table and chairs to comfortably seat 5. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster. The main bedroom has double beds, balcony & wardrobe. The bathroom has a bath/shower, toilet and bidet, decorated in local Portuguese tiles. In a recessed area near the main bedroom are 2 bunk beds (Child's space). All rooms are fitted with electric heaters, for those rare occasions in the colder winter months!
NOTE: Sleeps 2 Adults in Bedroom 2 adults in sofabed and 2 childs in bunks.

The Algarve region
The stretch of coast between Faro and Albufeira covers the two extremes of the Algarve’s tourist industry. The Algarve receives more sunshine than any other part of mainland Europe and has miles of golden beaches. There are a number of water parks within the area including the famous Zoomarine where it is possible to swim with the dolphins, early booking recommended.
Albufeira / Club Albufeira area
Albufeira is perfect for any holiday, due to the range of attractions available. The old town of Albufeira, a former fishing port, retains its old higgledy-piggledy streets, local characters, some local inexpensive restaurants with marvellous views, seafront bars/restaurants, great beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. The street entertainers in the square are not to be missed ,especially the puppeteer.. . a short taxi ride away on the newer side of Albufeira offers a lively night out, with a fine selection of international restaurants, bars and discos. Although more lively, this is still very much a family side of the resort which will appeal to all ages, especially families with children
Holiday- makers at club will be spoiled by the choice of three superb swimming pools, each with a separate children's play pool. The on-site poolside restaurant is open all year round enabling holiday makers at the Club Albufeira to enjoy delicious international and local cuisine. Poolside bars serve chilled cocktails and snacks under sun umbrella covered seating.
A free courtesy shuttle bus runs from Club Albufeira four times daily to the Old Town of Albufeira and nearby beautiful long and shelved beaches making it a holiday where driving is not a necessity. Taxis to anywhere in Albufeira average only a fare of 5 Euros.
How to get there
Faro airport approximately 35km (30 minutes driving time).Taxis available at airport . Railway station Ferreiras 5km. Nearest Motorway Junction IP1 3km. Hire car not necessary, altough to enjoy all that the algarve has to offer a car is recommended. Express Train connections to Lisbon from local station. Seville 2-3 hrs drive (motorway). Lisbon 2-3 hrs drive (motorway). Airport transfers can be arrange at a cost of approx 45 euros.

The traditional Portuguese wood burner provides a homely environment. The bedroom contains 1 double bed and extensive fitted wardrobes with storage space. The bathroom include baths, showers, toilets, wash basins and bidets. The fitted kitchen provides all essential equipment for self catering. Air conditioning available from june.
Further details outdoors: Clube Albufeira is very conveniently situated just a couple of minutes drive from the Old and new town areas, making it an ideal location whatever type of holiday you are looking for. The low rise apartments are widely spread on the hillside and ours is positioned in beautiful landscaped gardens with superb open views.
The pool areas are great for families with large grassy areas for play as well as sunbathing, the largest pool area is beautifully designed with two jacuzzis and a children's area, separated from the main pool by an in-pool bar! If you wish to do more than lie in the water then you can join the daily aqua aerobics in high season.
For those looking to play golf the Clube offers discounted green fees (arranged locally) on a variety of challenging courses for both the professional and occasional golfer.
The Algarve Shopping Centre is a 5 minute drive and consists of shops, discount retail outlets, cinema and bowling alley.
The bustling town of Albufeira was once a peaceful fishing village. Now a charming holiday resort, its narrow streets are lined with Algarvian white washed houses, restaurants, bars and shops, all perched over its famous long, sandy Fisherman's beach. A daily market sells handicrafts and jewellery and its pretty square plays host to many street entertainers and festivals throughout the summer. A great place to watch the world go by with a glass of 'vinho verde"!

There are 3 superb's Swimming Pools on the complex and one of them is heated in the winter months - 35 degrees!!! Two of them have separate children's play pool, or alternatively can relax in either of the Club's jacuzzis.
There are several snack bars and an excellent restaurant 'O Pavillhao' which is open all year round which serves superb food and offers weekly BBQ's.(peak time only)
Conditions
40% deposit on booking, 60% 8 weeks prior to holiday. An additional €75 is required for security of the equipment of the apartment. This will return to you if there is no damage to the property. Prices inclusive of all utilities, air-conditioning and Club facilities. Apartment is available from 5pm on arrival day and must be vacated by 10 am on departure day to give the maid time to prepare the property for the next arrivals.. Please bring own beach and pool towels. Airport transfers available by request. No pets allowed. Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
