A buzzing nightlife is only 5 mins walk away. Old Albufeira with its cobbled streets and historical culture is only a 20 minute walk along the coast . There, the traditional Algarve mixes with a lively nightlife to make this a great holiday spot. Public transport is very convenient. Certainly no need for a car !
Golfers find the Algarve a paradise and the world famous Villamoura is less than 30 mins drive away.

This newly refurbised apartment has two bedrooms (one en suite) and sleeps 6. The separate kitchen is new and contemporary and contains all new equipment and mod cons. The bathroom includes a hydro-shower and it and the en suite have been newly built to the highest standard. The Living Room and Dining area are separate and enjoy great sunlight throughout the day. Sky Television has been installed.
With babies in mind, we have a travel cot, and a high chair.

Both the dining area and the Living room lead on to a magnificient wrap around balcony with spectacular views, and overlook the swimming pool and landscaped gardens. Outdoor dining furniture for six and sun loungers are provided to help you enjoy al fresco living. An unusual feature is the outside utility area which includes washing machine, sink area and outdoor hot and cold shower. Perfect for washing off the sand from the beaches or just cooling down after sun bathing.

* 50% of the rent by cheque as a booking deposit. Upon receipt, the period booked will show as booked on our availability calander. Balance to be paid 5 weeks before arrival.
* Balance and a refundable 300 euro or £200 breakage/cleaning deposit is due two weeks prior to arrival. This deposit to be refunded within seven days of vacating the premises provided no damage has been caused. and the premises has been cleaned. Failure to clean the apartment will result in a 60 euro or £40 penalty.
The Algarve / Central Algarve region
Albufeira is one of the most popular resorts in the Algarve and is just a 20 minute walk away from Oura Vale, along the beautiful coast. It is a bustling town yet still manages to retain much of the original charm and character of its fishing village history. You can explore the Old Town with its maze of narrow white streets and array of shops, bars and restaurants serving traditional and cosmopolitan fare. Albufeira has two magnificient beaches, the golden Town Beach, reached through the historic Moors' tunnel, and the Fisherman's Cove with its wide sandy shore and brightly painted fishing boats. At night the town comes alive with music and the Town Square provides a venue for artists. Yet one can always find a quiet spot to drink some wine and relax.
Golfers find the Algarve a paradise. There are three local golf courses, and the world famous Villamoura is only a 30 minute drive away. Children and teenagers will enjoy the Zoo marine centre at Guia. The huge Algarve Shopping centre at Guia is also worth a visit. Day trips are available (with pick up stops all around the local area) to Lisbon, Fatima and Seville. These are very reasonable, and are recommended.
The Albufeira / Oura Beach area
The lovely beach Praia d'Oura is only 500 meters from the Apartment. It is a fine sandy beach and is very wide and long, stretching around a curved bay and protected by typical sandstone cliffs. There are a number of beach bars and restaurants where you can relax with a coffee and enjoy the beautiful views.
The beach offers a wide variety of watersports including windsurfing, water-skiing, parascending, jet skiing, fishing, and the always popular banana boat rides, while scuba diving can be found in the next cove along. Why not explore the hidden grottoes of the stunning Algarve coastline by taking a boat trip? There are many quiet coves to be found around Praia d'Oura and Albufeira can be reached on foot along the coast. There are also some spectacular cliff-top walks.
Visitors are spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants and bars in the area offering everything from traditional Portugese fare to carveries. Everything to make Oura a great spot to visit !
How to get there

Cheap flights available from Ryanair to Faro Airport. A local taxi firm (number available from property owner) will take four people from airport to home for 25 euro. Car hire is available at airport but a car is not necessary. Public transport and a street train (great fun for kids!) and a taxi rank are all at the gate of the complex. Day tours to Lisbon, Fatima and Seville are available at a very reasonable rate, and are recommended.

we were two couples who stayed at this apartment, it was great having an ensuite in one room and a seperate bathroom. the apartment was well equipped. we all loved the wrap around balcony and indeed we spent most of our time out here. if going back to portugal again we would certainly consider staying here again...
