The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. The tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quiets down in the dead of winter. Even then, there are many days when it is warm and sunny enough to sunbathe or sit outside at the pavement cafes and enjoy the balmy weather
Albufeira area
The complex is situated in Montechoro, a residential area of Albufeira, favoured for its proximity to The Strip, nightclubs, bars, restaurants and shops. All amenities are in easy walking distance, including supermarkets, internet café’s and public transport. Buses to theme parks and other tourist attractions regularly pass nearby. 30 Minutes from Faro Airport. A local 'tourist train' connects this area with the Old Town or alternatively, it is about a 20 minute walk.
There are several superb sandy beaches in the area; the nearest being Praia d'Oura, is a 15 - 20 minute walk away.
How to get there
Faro Airport is 30 minutes away. Airport transfers can be arranged at a total one-way price of £23/€31 for 1 - 4 guests and £36/€49 for 5 - 8 guests.
