The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. The tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quiets down in the dead of winter. Even then, there are many days when it is warm and sunny enough to sunbathe or sit outside at the pavement cafe's and enjoy the balmy weather
Albufeira area
The complex is situated in Montechoro, a residential area of Albufeira, favoured for its proximity to The Strip, nightclubs, bars, restaurants and shops. All amenities are in easy walking distance, including supermarkets, internet café’s and public transport. Buses to theme parks and other tourist attractions regularly pass nearby. Faro Airport is 30 minutes away. A local 'tourist train' connects this area with the Old Town, or alternatively it is about a 20 minute walk.
There are several superb sandy beaches in the area; the nearest being Praia da Oura, which is a 15 - 20 minute walk away.

We had a wonderful holiday and were very happy with the efficient booking process. The apartment was clean and welcoming and the linen was clean and fresh. The apartment was fantastic; spacious with smart, modern decor inside, great kitchen, very clean and lovely views from the large balcony. All bedding and sofas were very clean and comfortable. The drawer containing local information, guidebooks and leaflets, etc. was very useful. The complex was excellent - it is situated in a nice area in which we felt safe walking at night; it is also a nice distance to walk to the beach and The Strip.
