Fantastic family holiday complex. Relax by the pools, eat in the restaurants, or visit many local beaches and eat out. Night life a short distance away, local town has something for everyone. Children will enjoy 'Zoomarine' and 'Splash' for more swimming) excursions can be booked in the town or reception. Car hire / taxis (price regulated) available at reception or locally. Great bars (try barracuda) for good english fayre freshly cooked. Fresh fish and good local wines are reasonable.
Golfers can enjoy the Algarve all year round, and the links courses including Valderama are great..

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve has long been a popular destination with the British, and locals are very welcoming to holiday makers. Albufeira was a small fishing village, and is now a lovely tourist destination. There is a variety of things to occupy and entertain both young and older visitors. The local beaches are beautiful, with water sports or quiet secluded bays. A trip to the mountain village of Monchique, with its breathtaking views from the new viewing area, will be a rewarding trip.Artisan shopping, and eatiries make it a wortwhile day out. The fabulous fishing bay at Carvejeiro is a must, and the recntly openned marinas in Albufeira and one in Portemao are fascinating with restaurants and shopping. Local shops at shopping Algarve whilst the others enjoy the cinema or 10 pin bowling should not be missed. Fishing trips can be arranged locally, as can boat trips to view the beautiful coastline and beaches. Local markets, at Travera and th Castle at Silves should be must. Golfers adore the region for its consistant weather, and great links courses. Try Valderama, and Salgados
Albufeira / Club Albufeira area
Visit Splash and Zoomarine with children of all ages. Local tennis, wimming and water sports . Golf courses and fab shopping. 2km from town/beach local beach courtesy buses 4 times daily. 4 pools/lifeguards in season - 2 restaurants. The Annual Carnival happens in February, and makes an interesting highlight to the early season.
How to get there
Flights are frequent from most local airports - Easyjet & mytravellite usually have reasonable flights. You just need to check the net.in plenty of time.
cars are easily hired loally or from the reception. Owners can arrange give number of excellent contact for booking of cars for collection and leaving at airports.

Further details outdoors: Sunloungers SUPPLIED FREE OF CHAIRS AT THE THREE POOL AREAS. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained the apartment is only about 2-3 mins walk from the pool - and you need never move till bedtime. Restaurant 'O'Paviloe is excellent, as are others on site. Life guards on dduty dduring season, and CCTV for peace of mind. Parking next to apartment. Reception is staffed 24hrs per day. Taxi and trips bookable at receeption. Courtesy bus between club and town twice daily , Internet / email service and cash machine available in reception.
