The long balcony off the master bedroom and living room which is directly opposite the crystal clear swimming pools, has views over Albufeira and is perfect for a relaxing and memorable Algarve holiday. Outstanding facilities include a barbecue, gymnasium, squash court and games room. The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. The tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quiets down in the dead of winter. Even then, there are many days when it is warm and sunny enough to sunbathe or sit outside at the pavement cafes and enjoy the balmy weather
Albufeira area
Location The apartment is situated just a 2 minute walk to the Worm’s Roundabout and main street of Albufeira; 5 minutes walk to The Strip and 15 minutes to the Old Town and Fisherman’s Beach, so there are plenty of restaurants, shops, bars and internet café’s within easy reach. The local tourist train, circulating Albufeira, connects guests to the beach and Old Town every 20 minutes. 30 minutes to Faro Airport.
Beach There are several superb sandy beaches in the Albufeira area; the nearest being Praia d'Oura just 800m away. Other local beaches include Areias de Sao Joao, Santa Eulalia and Fisherman’s Beach at the Old Town.
Golf Balaia and Pine Cliffs golf courses are just 5 minutes away. Salgados to the west of Albufeira and the six world class golf courses of Vilamoura to the east are all an easy 10 minutes drive from the apartment.
How to get there
Faro Airport is 30 minutes away. Airport transfers can be arranged at a total one-way price of €35 for 1 - 4 guests and €50 for 5 - 8 guests. Cheap flights from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland through www.easyjet.com; www.firstchoice.co.uk; www.flyglobespan.com; www.flymonarch.com and www.ryanair.com, www.ba.com, www.aerlingus.com, www.thompsonfly.com and www.bmibaby.com, Car hire can be booked at highly competitive rates, please ask for details. Lisbon and Seville are both 2 hours away by car. Regular train and bus service from both cities.
