Casa St. Therese is an ideal holiday villa for adults and children alike, the villa is stylishly furnished in Portuguese style with a marble interior. On the first floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with a comfortable Breakfast Bar opening onto a secluded lemon grove courtyard. A separate dining room leads onto a spacious living room with large French Windows opening onto a terraced balcony overlooking the pool, the Marina and Albufeira coastline. There is an elegant cocktail bar with concealed lighting in a comfortable seating area which is perfect for relaxing at home with pre-dinner drinks or entertaining friends. Down the marbled corridor is a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and bathroom, all furnished to the highest standards. The second floor comprises two twin bedrooms, a double bedroom and two bathrooms, one of which is en suite. These two floors will accommodate up to 10 people, but there is an additional floor with three bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms should you wish to inccrease your party size to a maximum of 16 people.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

A land of sunshine and sea, bordered by miles of golden sands and gently touched by the clear blue waters of the Atlantic. This privileged region in the south of Portugal has some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. The Algarve derives its name from the times when it was occupied by the Moors who named it Al Gharb meaning the The Garden. Silves was considered to be the most beautiful place by the Moors and you can see the remains of the Fort and an Archeological Museum.. From the remotest past, it has been charcterised by great interaction between different peoples and cultures and these influences can be seen in the architecture of its houses and monuments. Places of interest in the Algarve include, Silves and the Monchique mountains and Spa, Tavira and the Ria Formosa wildlife reserve to the East , and Lagos and Portimao to the West.

Albufeira / Pateo area

Albufeira is a an old picturesque fishing town where delightful little white houses lead to a beach filled with colourful boats. The beaches are wonderful: Gale is a long beach with cliffs to the east and sand dunes to the west and very popular with Portuguese tourists. A variety of watersports are available on the west side of Gale beach. Castelo is a beach of great natural beauty. The cliffs eroded by the sea and the wind are the background to this small beach with rock pools, good quality water and delightful cafe/restaurant.
Golf courses abound in the Algarve and there is one only 5 minutes drive from the villa. The Slide and Splash Water Park is a favourite with children and Albufeira Shopping Centre will provide all the retail therapy you may require! There are plenty of Bars, Restaurants and Night Clubs in Albufeira but if you wish to relax locally there are many restaurants within walking diatnce of the villa , with the new Marina only 3 km away.

How to get there

On the Portuguese Algarve Coast, flights go from most UK airports direct to Faro. There is a taxi rank at Faro airport to meet flights at all times of the day or night. If you wish to hire a car the villa is approximately 30 minutes drive from Faro airport.

.The villa is furnished in a traditional Portuguese style with a beautiful marble interior and chandeliers. The kitchen is large and fully equipped.All the bathrooms are stylishly fitted with showers and 4 piece bathroom suites. Bed linen and towels are provided but you are asked to provide your own poolside and Beach towels.

Further details outdoors:
The swimming pool is approximately 40ftx23ft and has an inset shaded bar with seating in the pool. It is set in a lovely walled garden with poolside terrace and has ample sunbeds and loungers with sunshades and chairs. Steps from the terrace lead down to a lower garden with lawns and lemon trees in which is set a pretty barbeque area. The whole outside area is floodlit and is excellent for outdoor entertaining and poolside dining. On the ground floor alongside the pool is a Games Room with Table Tennis facilities - an ideal play area for children.

IWow! What a Villa !

We had a fantastic holiday at Casa St Therese.

The Villa is fabulous - very comfortable - within walking distance to all amenities - weather was fantastic - wonderful pool - what more could you ask for?

Every one of us (all 15) had a great time and loved the Villa.
