Villa Victoria, split into 5 self-catering ground floor Studio apartments with private pool, is set in lawned gardens in a peaceful residential area of PRAIA DA OURA/AREIAS DE SAO JOAO, approx. 3 km from the old town Albufeira.
A 5 minutes stroll will take you to the famous "STRIP" where you will find a large variety of shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment..
The OURA BEACH, with its popular water sports attractions, beachfront restaurants and bars, is just a short 10 minute walk away.
Villa Victoria is ideal for couples looking for a quieter location but with all the facilities of a larger resort close at hand. It is also the perfect solution for family and friends who like to travel together, but still want to enjoy the privacy of their own room.

The Studio apartment offers a spacious lounge with living / dining and sleeping area (twin beds), built-in wardrobe, sofa bed, TV (CNN, Eurosport, RTL & portuguese channels), safe (local charge), portable fan.
Kitchenette with 2 electric rings, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle.
PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDIO APARTMENTS DO NOT HAVE A SEPARATE LIVING ROOM. A 3rd person can be accommodated on the sofa bed (check supplements), but it is the same room.
Maid service three times per week (April to October), twice in Winter. Towels will be changed twice and linen once per week.
Pool or beach towels not included.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve is located on the south coast of Portugal and it is renowned for its mild and sunny climate, its 100 miles of glorious sandy beaches with their stunning rock formations and its excellent sports facilities.

The tourist season extends from March to October and it really only quiets down in the dead of Winter. Even then, there are many days when its warm and sunny enough to sunbathe or sit outside at the pavement cafes and enjoy the balmy weather.

There are numerous golf courses along the coast, a lot of them only a 15 minutes drive from the Villa. A good resource for golf - www.portugalgolf.pt.

There are many leisure activities and excursions.These include scuba-diving, several water fun parks, fishing, sailing, jeep safaris, Zoomarine, bicycle and moped hire, etc. A good resource for what to do & to see - www.portugal-live.net. or www.algarve-portal.com.

The Albufeira / Oura Beach area

Once a little fishing village, ALBUFEIRA still retains much of its charm with many pretty cobbled streets leading to the town square and fisherman's beach. These narrow lanes offer a wide selection of good restaurants and bars, while the main square comes alive at night with live bands providing entertainment in high season.

The new area of Albufeira, where Villa Victoria is located, consists of PRAIA DA OURA (Oura beach), AREIAS DE SAO JOAO and MONTECHORO and provides a lively atmosphere. Through the centre runs the famous "Strip" which is lined with gift shops, pavement cafes, bars and restaurants.

The OURA BEACH, with its popular water sports attractions (water-skiing, parasailing, jet skis, banana boat rides, etc.), beachfront restaurants and bars, is just a short 10 minute walk away.

The transport links to the old town are excellent with frequent bus services or the "Blue Train", which is a tourist train running from the "Strip". You can also walk to the old town via the beach and a cliff top walk, with some stunning views of both Albufeira and further down the coast towards Vilamoura.

“What a treat!” Just back from a week with my 21 year old daughter. The studios are perfect. They don't have loads of mod-cons but they do have what you need to get buy - fridge, couple of rings on a hotplate, microwave, plenty of wardrobe space. The pool is a good size and we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves most days. Property very easy to find and less than 5 mins from the strip with loads of lovely restaurants and friendly bars. Lovely Beach is 10 mins walk away. Tourist train every 20 mins to Old Town. Large supermarket (good prices) 10 mins walk away to stock up. All-in-all a great week in a great property.

“Perfect for a couple” The owner was so helpful and arranged airport transfers to and from the airport. It was clean, really close to a supermarket and around the corner from the strip. It was so nice to relax by the pool... more

“Fantastic location and beautiful place to stay!!” I would definately recommend this accomodation to anyone. The apartment within the villa was lovely and clean, and the grounds, pool etc were fantastic. It was very near to pubs/resraurants. It was very relaxing and quiet. We will be going again. Victoria is very helpful and friendly and booked our transfers making it much easier. Thank you

“The accommodation, location and villa were excellent. Highly recommended” Fantastic accommodation, private garden, peaceful yet very close to the central strip. Comfortable beds, clean towels, spotless kitchen. Apartment is quite large and cleaned twice while we were there and new towels provided. The owners take pride in the garden which is kept to a high standard. Would highly recommend this property, so much so we have booked to go again as soon as we got home.
