The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. The tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quiets down in the dead of winter. Even then, there are many days when it is warm and sunny enough to sunbathe or sit outside at the pavement cafes and enjoy the balmy weather.
The golf season extends from autumn through to spring and golfers can enjoy the warm sunny conditions whilst their own courses at home are unplayable. In summer they can receive discounted green fees at many courses.
The Albufeira / Corcovada area
Location
Parque da Corcovada is a quiet residential complex in Montechoro, just off the main street of Albufeira, in close proximity of The Strip, restaurants, nightclubs, bars, Bullring, supermarkets, shops and internet café’s. The Albufeira tourist train stops on the Strip, near to the Old Town and Fisherman’s Beach and runs every 20 minutes. The Parque da Corcovada complex is located a 30 minute from Faro Airport.
Beach
Albufeira has many superb sandy beaches in the area; the nearest being Praia da Oura, a 15 minute stroll from the Parque da Corcovada.
Golf
The complex is ideally positioned for golfers with Balaia golf course and Sheraton Pine Cliffs golf course just a 5 minute drive away and the world class golf courses of Vilamoura a 10 minute drive from the Parque da Corcovada.
