The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and it boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. The tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quiets down in the dead of winter. Even then, there are many days when it is warm and sunny enough to sunbathe or sit outside at the pavement cafes and enjoy the balmy weather.
The golf season extends from autumn through to spring and golfers can enjoy the warm sunny conditions whilst their own courses at home are unplayable. In summer they can receive discounted green fees at many courses.

The Albufeira / Areias Sao Joao area

The apartment is situated just a 5 minute walk to the main street of Albufeira and 10 minutes walk to The Strip, so there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars within easy reach. The Old Town is a 15 minute walk away. The nearest beach is 600m away and local beaches include Praia da Oura, at the bottom of The Strip and Fisherman's Beach at the Old Town. Local buses and buses to theme parks pass nearby.
