About the home

Traditional Portuguese Villa that has 2 kitchens and 2 lounges, may be used as 2 apartments or as one whole. Ideal for families holidaying together/golfers/large or small parties. Tranquil setting amongst pine trees which give the villa its name VILLA PINHAL. Long fruit tree lined drive, beside ancient orange groves. Gravelled parking area for several vehicles.
Pinhal Panorama - Sleeps 6 - Two large bedrooms one having a double bed and single bed, the other a 3/4 bed and twin beds. Sofabed in the lounge. Kitchen and family bathroom. Patio doors from bedrooms/lounge to sun terraces with furniture. Great views.
Pinhal Poolside - Sleeps 4 - Two bedrooms each en-suite, one with King size bed and the other with twin beds. Additional sofa bed in LARGE lounge if required. Family bathroom with sunken bath, large kitchen. Patio doors lead out onto barbecue, terraces and pool, all with furniture.
Lots of leisure activities closeby, golf, horse riding, tennis, theme/water parks and Zoomarine are but a few. Historical sites such a Silves, colourful gypsy markets and the glorious mountains of Monchique with its spring waters and smell of pines. There are wonderful restaurants, live music, fado. For the more lively, The Strip and Kadoc Disco are firm favourites. Then again, you could just lay around the Pinhal Pool and enjoy the glorious sunshine, have a barbecue and just chill out. (Spot of Karaoke? - Be a STAR!!!).

Both upstairs and downstairs lounges have sofa beds if required.
Each lounge has Satellite TV/HiFi/DVD. Each apartment has a safe for your valuables.

In the entrance hall are Books, CDs, DVDs and Games.
There is a PS2 available (Deposit required).
We even have a KARAOKE MACHINE ! Be a STAR !!!

All terraces have patio furniture.
Private Pool with outside shower, 10 sunbeds/cushions, tables and umbrellas.
Beach towels are NOT provided.
However there ARE towels in the hallway to allow persons to dry off before entering the Villa.
Villa is set approx 200 metres from the road, up along drive with two setsof gates.
Trees lining drive consist of orange, lemon, pomegranate, avocado, mango, fig, plum, peach and medler.

To allow access to Gardener usually on Tuesday mornings.
Pool maintainance Tuesdays and Saturdays or when necessary.
Maid Service - Daily bed making, general tidy/clean if required
Linen changed weekly or as required

Conditions

A damage deposit is required - refundable one week after departure subject to any breakages.
Payment terms - 30% with booking, balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Villa sits in this charming region of portugal with its idyllic temperatures, likened to a California climate. Ideal for playing golf and other sports. in the northern part of the Algarve, the hills of Monchique and Caldeirao shelter the coast from strong winds. This brightly coloured region, with its fig trees, orange groves and almond trees in blossom, is also the most verdant and fertile. The southern coastline consists of a long stretch of fabulous sandy beaches, broken up by extraordinary rugged cliffs and fantastic grotto's.

The Albufeira / Pata de Baixo area

Pata de Baixo is approximately 4 km between Vilamoura and Albufeira. The closest beaches are the fabulous Falesia, Olhos d'Agua, St Eulalia and Praia d'Oura. Nearest golf courses are Victoria, Millennium and Laguna. A short distance away is Acoteias with a hoard of tempting restaurants and bars. Local fish, fruit and vegetable markets. Colourful Gypsy Markets in Quarteira, Loule and Albufeira Sardine Festival in Portimao Zoomarine for a great family day out - Swim with the dolphins Summer concerts in the new Stadium and also on the beach! Kadoc disco - have regular events throughout the Summer eg foam parties with famous hosts. Algarve Shopping has cinema's, bowling, restaurants and wonderful shops to browse around. Behind Algarve Shopping is Adega do Cantor - Sir Cliff Richard's Winery where you can take a tour. It's also now possible to book a Summer Holiday Cruise/bbq lunch on his boat Bajan Sundown. Historical sites are Silves the old Moorish capital and Golden Chapel and Slave market in Lagos, home of the statue of Henry the Navigator. And a must is a trip up to Monchique -sample the spring waters and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
