The Albufeira / Balaia area
The accommodation is located in Balaia, this is part of Olhos D'Agua area close to some of the Algarve´s best beaches - with nice beach bars/restaurants, like Olhos D'Agua, Santa Eulalia, Maria Luisa, Falesia and others.
Albufeira town is 1km, around 20 mins walk. The old town is very interesting with narrow cobbled streets and old fisherman houses and then there are the numerous music bars and street entertainers together with regular free shows in the main square in the summer season. Along with the lively 'Strip' containing many bars, restaurants & nightclubs.
Algarve Shopping, the biggest shopping centre in the region with several shops, restaurants, bowling, hypermarket (open Mon-Sun until 12:00 pm) is about 20mins drive away, with free parking. There are many other activities and attractions within 30 mins drive, such as

Horse riding over the sand dunes
Water sports & jet ski
Big game & Reef fishing from Albufeira marina and Vilamoura marina we just centred between the two 10-20 min drive

The apartment and complex where immaculate the balcony was so spacious and well equipped with table chairs parasol and two lovely sunbeds. we would love to return as the apartment was everything you could want 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms dining furniture and a lovely kitchen it also felt very safe with electronic shutters and a safe ! I could go on and on, but i must mention the beautiful beaches within walking distance and restaurants with lovely food and a really good supermarket . We would definitely recommend this apartment and area to anyone thinking of going and very reasonably priced. |
