The villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for fresh produce, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The apartment benefits from a luxurious shared pool and beautifully landscaped surrounding area, perfect for sunbathing. Leading from both the living room and second bedroom is a spacious balcony furnished with table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

Algarve is the southernmost region of Portugal and it's an ideal holiday destination due to the glorious year round sunshine and excellent sandy beaches punctuated with astonishing rock formations.
The area is famous for expertly designed golf courses with superb views. The area also boasts a combination of lively nightlife with the sleepy towns and villages, where holiday visitors melt into local life and can enjoy authentic Portugese seafood.
The Albufeira / Olhos d'Agua area
Olhos D'Agua is the perfect location for a quiet relaxing break. The local town has a variety of quality restaurants and cafes. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from amenities incluing supermarket, local food market, bank, tourist information and Cafe (with excellent ice-cream). There are several golf courses near by - Pine Cliffs and the Balai Golf village.
For some buzz, catch the EVA bus to Albufeira for more beach fun and an excellent night scene. Villamoura, famed for its marina, is also a short bus ride away.
Algarve is an idea holiday destination for families with a number of fun activities available, including Zoomarine, Aqualand, Slide and Splash.

Fly to Faro Airport - Olhos D'Agua is only a short 25min drive away. There are a number of airlines that offer frequent, direct flights from the UK (including Scotland and Ireland) to Faro. Popular airlines include Easyjet, British AIrways, Ryanair and Jet2.
Olhos D'Agua is situated between Albufeira and Vilamoura. Buses run from the airport to Olhos D'agua, but are infrequent. A pre-booked taxi/minibus from the airport which will cost around 30 Euros is a more convienent and reliable option. Transfers Direct http://www.algarvetransfersdirect.com/ is a reputable, well known company and transport can be booked via their website. We have used the taxi service on Portugal- 917778980.

Apartmento Cereja in Olhos d' Agua is a wonderful place to stay. We loved BBQs on the balcony by candlelight and sunbathing by the pool in the sunshine. The apartment is spacious, spotless and comfortable, and everything that you could need is provided, including dishwasher, washing machine, iron, hairdryer! The pool is private, secluded and surrounded by flowers, and there are loungers and parasols allocated to your apartment for your exclusive use. Olhos d' Agua is a peaceful family place, and the locals are so friendly. There are plenty of nice restaurants and shops - the beach restaurants, Fratelli and jewellery shops were favourites. As we were on a girl's holiday, we also enjoyed the Albuferia nightlife, which is a cheap 5 minute taxi ride away. We also travelled to Villa Moura about 15 minutes away, which has lovely deck bars and boat trips from the Marina. Fantastic. |

We had a terrific one week visit to the appartment which completely recharged my batteries. It's well located in a quiet place very close to a beautiful beach, but there are other towns nearby making it ideal for day trips (Vilamoura, Albufeira, Lagos to name the ones we went to but I'm sure there are others). The appartment is very well kitted out with comfy beds, air con, kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, two bathrooms and a nice balcony - everything you need and nicely decorated too! Spent most of my time either in the pool or by the beach, but also went to a few of those other places to check them out - the busses are easy and cheap but there are taxi firms if you can't be bothered with that. I can also very much recommend the Meu Limao restaurant in Lagos. They did very reasonably priced Tapas style dishes which were delicious. Really though, the trip was all about sitting in the sun, swimming in the sun, reading in the sun and taking it very easy. Can't recommend it enough, and we intend to come back again as soon as possible! Chris Croasdale. |

This apartment was exactly what I had been looking for and more for our family holiday at the Algarve! The apartment is on the ground floor, very new looking, spacious, beautifully furnished and has great facilities for a family or two couples. The kitchen is modern and is very well set up with everything we required. With the Supermarket being a 2 minute walk away, it was great to be able to eat when we wanted at the apartment. The balcony was spacious and private and a lovely place to sit in the evenings. It was really helpful to have what I call the 'extras' such as the beach towels there for us to use, a good selection of DVDs, games, books, washing machine/dryer and clothes drying rack. These items make a family holiday so much easier. The pool in the complex is fairly small, deep and was very quiet most of the week we were there - often there were only 1-2 families at the pool. The apartment has it's own sun loungers and the pool gets sun all day long - great place to relax at the end of the day. The location of the apartment in Olhos d'Agua is fantastic - it is in a cul de sac, so is very quiet but is only a 2 minute walk to the main road, supermarket and nearest block of shops. In the nearest block of shops is The New York Bar - brilliant place for a drink anytime, a bank with ATM, patisserie which sells the best range of fresh bread and rolls, buffet restaurant - handy place to eat for a large group or quick family meal, tourist information and booking agency - very helpful with everything, souvenir & beach supplies shop, chemist and taxi rank. There were plenty of other restaurants, shops and bars withing easy walking distance. Everything that you could possibly want was basically on your doorstep! If you wanted more, Albufeira was a 10 minute taxi ride away. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the apartment and it is beautiful! We spent most of our week swimming and relaxing at the beach. Would recommend a day at Slide & Splash water park - the bus pick up and drop off is at the nearest taxi rank . The range of slides and facilities was brilliant and it was easily one of the best fun days our family has ever had! Our children are 7 & 11 so they were on the rides all day and this was the highlight of their holiday. Loule Market was worth a trip but it was more enjoyable spending the day (child free) shopping and exploring around the town of Loule. We had a brilliant holiday at Olhos d'Agua and I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough for anyone who wants a beautiful apartment in a quiet & convenient location. |
