About the home

This luxurious 1 bed apartment on the popular resort of Varandos Do Mar, is a newly built apartment finished to the highest standards. Only a few hundred yards from the beach of Olhos d'Agua, this apartment has spectacular sea views that can be seen from the bedroom, kitchen and dining area. The balcony offers the best views, overlooking the pool, beach and the town of Olhos d'Agua.

The small town of Olhos de Agua is full of traditional portuguese charm, you can enjoy fresh fish in one of the beachfront restaurants or stroll around the friendly bars in the evening.

There are a number of beaches within a short walk of the apartment, Olhos de Agua beach, Maria Luisa or Praia Falesia.

Albufeira is easy to get to if you fancy something a bit more lively in the evening, a taxi from the nearby taxi rank will cost you approx 5 euros. There are also regular buses to various resorts along the coast. Vilamoura is also a lively resort, famous for it Marina and luxury yachts.

Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of 25% to be paid when booking and the remaining balance is to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days awaiting written confirmation and deposit. A €150 breakage bond is also required with the final payment. This will be returned within 14 days after departure date, provided there are no damages.

The Albufeira / Olhos d'Agua area

Olhos d’Agua is a small fishing village in a beautiful setting, ideal for relaxing but also close enough to enjoy the night life offered at Albufeira, nightclubs and entertainment bars can be found on The Strip at Oura, which is a 5 minute taxi ride.

There are several beaches within walking distance, Maria Luisa and Olhos d’Agua being the nearest. Each having a fish restaurant and bar, and during the peak periods various water sports are available. Praia da Falesia (5 minute drive) runs between Olhos d’Agua and Vilamoura - this is a beautiful long beach dropped by the red sandstone cliffs and is un-crowded even during the summer period. Praia da Oura in Albufeira is within easy reach and offers a diving centre.

The nearest supermarket, bars, and restaurants are a short walk (3 mins). The majority of attractions are within a 20 minute drive, including Slide and Splash, Aqualand, Zoomarine, and many more. Also available are excursions to local markets and other places of interest i.e. to Seville and Lisbon.

“Lovely stay in Olhas” We stayed for 1 week in this lovely apartment which was ideal for a couple. The seaviews were lovely and the pool area was never busy. We read tripadvisor reviews about restaurants and this was very useful. To get to the beach towards Vilamoura you go up to the Riu hotel and go down steep steps - this is a lovely beach. The other nice beach is out of the complex, up to the road, turn left and keep walking. We did the jeep safari 1 day and this takes you up to the countryside and was good value - 20 euros including lunch. Tickets are bought for all trips opposite the Riu hotel. We got a taxi to the marina in Vilamoura one night. Eating out was very cheap - about 30 euros including house wine.

“Excellent new accomodation in an excellent location!!” The apartment is part of a new modern & secure development & is clean, secure & comfortable. Olhos is a delightful village with all amenities on your doorstep - restaurants, bars & of course a beautiful beach. We did not feel the need for a car & went to Albufeira by taxi ( 5 euros) & walked back & took a bus to Villamoura. We would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.
