About the home

Modern, luxury, 2 bedroom ground floor apartment located on the popular Clube Albufeira complex only 2 kilometres from the Old Town of Albufeira and it's superb beaches. The air- conditioned apartment sleeps up to 6 people and has 2 full size bathrooms both with baths, showers, toilets, sinks and bidets. There is a fully equipped kitchen for all your self catering needs and utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. A travel cot and highchair are also available at the apartment free of charge. Patio doors lead out onto the sun soaked terrace and garden area providing a safe environment for children to play. Outdoor furniture is provided. The complex boasts 4 swimming pools with children's area plus free loungers and sun umbrellas. One of the pools is heated during the winter. Other facilities include restaurants, snack bars, bar, kiosk and mini market, tennis courts, crazy golf, and children's play park. Reception is open 24 hours and offers bicycle rental, excursions, car rental and provides free transport into the town centre twice daily during the week. Telephone, fax, email, internet and wi-fi are all available from reception. The site has 24 hour security in place. There are some excellent golf courses within easy driving distance and concession fees may be available at reception.

This ground floor apartment was completed in Spring 2006 and is furnished to a high standard. The large lounge/dining room contains a double sofa bed, window seating area and extending dining table with 6 chairs. There is cable TV, DVD and CD player. The traditional Portuguese wood burner provides a homely environment. Each bedroom contains 2 single beds and extensive fitted wardrobes with storage space. The 2 fully tiled bathrooms both include baths, showers, toilets, wash basins and bidets. The fitted kitchen provides all essential equipment for self catering. There is also a high chair and travel cot provided.

Patio doors from the lounge and bedroom 1 lead out onto the south facing terrace and garden area. Outdoor furniture and BBQ are provided. There are extensive views from the patio overlooking the complex and the sea can be seen in the far distance.

The apartment is available for rental throughout the whole year. There is flexibility with change over days especially in low season. 20% deposit will be required on booking and the balance due 8 weeks prior to holiday. Additional £100 damage deposit cheque is payable with the final balance to be refunded within 14 days, subject to satisfactory apartment inspection. Cancellations within 8 weeks of departure forfeit deposit. Apartment is available from 3:00 pm on arrival day and to be vacated by 10:00 am on day of departure. Beach and pool towels are not provided.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The climate in the Algarve region is mild, with little rainfall and plenty of sun throughout the year, making it an ideal year-round destination. Albufeira was originally a small fishing port but is now the most popular resort on the Algarve. Spreading from the old town both east and west along the coast, its 23 sandy beaches and pictureque coves attract an assorted crowd of retired couples, young adults and families with children. Albufeira has retained its old world charm in the narrow alleyways and old buildings while The Strip, to the east of the town, is alive with cafes, restaurants and bars.

Clube Albufeira provides many outdoor facilities but has also created landscaped gardens throughout providing a relaxed, spacious green environment. There are 3 swimming pools, one of them being heated. A variety of snack bars are available and the restaurant offering full 'A la carte' menu is open all year. Weekly BBQ's are organised during the summer months. Reception is open 24 hours a day and offers a full range of excursions including Slide and Splash, zoo marine, boat trips and golf. During week days the site also runs a free courtesy bus to the old town of Albufeira. A footbridge, over the road, to Camping Albufeira provides further facilities including restaurant, disco, large pool area, children's sandy play area, craft shop, newspaper kiosk, tennis and football courts all at no extra cost.
The Algarve Shopping Centre is a 5 minute drive and consists of shops, discount retail outlets, cinema and bowling alley.

Fly to Faro airport, Clube Albufeira is approximately 40 kilometers away, a 30 minute drive. Transfers can be arranged through our onsite agent or car hire is available.
Cheap flights are readily available with many low cost airlines flying to Faro from most UK airports.

“Fantastic self catering apartment” Great self catering appartment, has everything you need two bedrooms and two bathrooms, nice kitchen with all the mod cons, dinning area inside and out. Very clean lovely complex with 4 pools with restaurants and snack bars on site. With a little walk to Albuferia old town or a 4 euro taxi ride away to some wonderful restaurants and senic cobbled streets. Beautiful beaches in the area or if you hire a car you can get out and about and see Portugal. This was my third visit and I will definatly return again.
