Casa da Horta individual cottage style apartment , sleeping up to 6 . Suitable for couples, families or large groups.

Conveniently situated in central Algarve, between Albufeira and Vilamoura, Casa da Horta, literally ‘Orchard House’ , a 150 year old farmhouse thoughtfully converted in charming apartments set amongst the tranquillity of fragrant orange groves in Vale Carro, close to the fishing village of Olhos D’Agua, the golf course of Sheraton Hotel, Açoteias and the magnificent Falesia beach.

This secluded rural location, surrounded by rolling fields, make it the perfect place for a relaxed away-from-it-all break, yet is still within easy reach of a great variety of local amenities including shops, beaches, golf courses, restaurants, nightlife and much more. Or you can simply take it easy, lie back and enjoy your holidays, relaxing around our lovely pool or getting together with family and friends at the communal BBQ area.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The accommodation is located in Vale de carro, close to Olhos de Água and to some of the Algarve´s best beaches - with nice beach bars/restaurants - Olhos de Água, Stª Eulália, Maria Luisa, Falésia and others.

At our property management office we offer advice, help and assistance to all our guests including a welcome visit to introduce you to the house and surrounding area. We also sell tickets to waterparks, zoomarine, golf, boat trips and excursions with discount prices. There is also an emergency telephone number provided.

Albufeira town is 6kms, around 10 min drive. The old town is very interesting with narrow cobbled streets and old fisherman houses and there are also numerous music bars and street entertainers together with regular free shows in the main square in the summer season.

Algarve Shopping, the biggest shopping centre in the region with several shops, restaurants, bowling, hypermarket (open Mon-Sun until 12:00 pm) is at Guia, a small town famous for many good value restaurants specialising in 'chicken piri piri', only 7min drive.

Zoomarine Park (sea life): 20 min drive

Two Waterslide Parks: 10min & 20 min drive

Horse riding over the sand dunes: 10 min drive

Water sports & jet ski on several Beaches

Big game & Reef fishing from Albufeira marina and Vilamoura marina we just centred between the two 10 min drive

The Albufeira / Olhos d'Agua area

Açoteias, Albufeira is very well known for its beautiful sandy beaches with amazing cliffs, wonderful for diving, fishing and aquatic sports. The weather is suitable for sun bathing almost all year round and for swimming during the spring and summer period.

The closest beach is Falésia, just 1500m from the property, with beautiful views and rock formations. Plenty of options to eat and drink with all kind of Restaurants, Bars and Cafes. There are also souvenir shops for some holiday shopping.
