The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve, located in the south of Portugal, offers ideal features for a wonderful holiday: practically year-round sunshine, golden sandy beaches with bars/restaurants, some of Europe’s best golf courses (20+), "Monchique" mountain, romantic hidden towns, good value restaurants and almond blossom covered fields in winter.
Although the Algarve is well known for its "sun and sea" offer, there are also places of historic interest like the castles of Paderne and Castro Marim, the palace of Estoi, the Roman bridge and castle of Silves, an idyllic town located 15km from the coast, the Cape St. Vincent in Sagres, the most south-westerly town of Europe, which was one of the most important towns during the Age of Discovering.
Albufeira / Guia area
The villa is located ina rural area near the charming village Guia, close to some of the Algarve´s best beaches - with nice beach bar/restaurants.
Our villa management office is 2km from the villa and they offer advice, help and assistance to all our guests including a welcome visit to introduce you to the house and surrounding area. They also sell tickets to waterparks, zoomarine, golf, boat trips and excursions at discount prices. There is also an emergency telephone Nº provided.
Albufeira town is 4kms, around 10 min drive. The old town is very interesting with narrow cobbled streets and old fisherman houses and then there are the numerous music bars and street entertainers together with regular free shows in the main square in the summer season.
Algarve Shopping, the biggest shopping centre in the region with several shops, restaurants, bowling, hypermarket (open Mon-Sun until 12:00 pm) is at Guia, a small town famous for many good value restaurants specialising in 'chicken piri piri', only 7min drive.
Zoomarine Park (sea life): 10min drive
Two Waterslide Parks: 10min & 20 min drive
Horse riding over the sand dunes: 5min drive
Water sports & jet ski on Galé Beach

GROUND FLOOR: Hall with WC / Cloakroom, fully fitted kitchen / breakfast room with washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Open plan dining room leading through an arch to lounge with Digital Satellite TV with BBC and free to air channels and mini hi-fi and Patio doors open out to a shaded dining terrace with a large stone dining table for 8 persons. Double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and patio door to terrace. Twin bedroom with patio door to garden, shower room, Double bedroom.
FIRST FLOOR: Large landing with Sofa bed, Double bedroom with en-suite shower room, sun terrace offering beautiful panoramic views and steps down to pool. The property is totally fenced with electric gates and there is a safe and an alarm system. There is a telephone available for making local calls
Further details outdoors: The large swimming pool (10m x 5m)which can be HEATED, has side Roman steps and is surrounded by terraces and a lawned garden with a feature built-in BBQ area. Conditions
Refundable breakage deposit of £300 is payable at the time of paying your final holiday balance. This will be refunded within 14 days after your return, providing there has been no breakages or damage reported by our property management office.
