About the home

This beautiful apartment, which is ideal for a romantic or family holiday, is located just 8 to 10 minutes' walk from old Albufeira town and beach and is furnished to an extremely high standard to ensure maximum comfort. The open plan design gives a sense of space and the furnishings and furniture ensures all the comforts of a home away from home. Enjoy the music, TV or DVDs.

The private roof terrace is south-facing and is wonderful for sunbathing. It is also ideal for a little 'al fresco' dining or for simply enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the magnificent views. See the paragliders and boats from the comfort of the terrace.

The complex, which is only a short distance from a variety of golf courses and sight-seeing attractions, is set in beautifully landscaped gardens. A focal point is the restored Windmill at the swimming pool, alongside the snack bar where a little Jazz music in the background is the perfect accompaniment to a light meal or drink.

The spacious, high-ceilinged, open plan living room with large patio doors leading out on to a small balcony, has cable television, DVD player, VCR and a Bose compact radio/cd music system.There is a good library of CDs, DVDs and video tapes. There is also a selection of board games and toys.

The two main bedrooms each have a small balcony. A second TV and VCR is set up in the twin bedroom.
The third bedroom is located next to the roof terrace.This is a small single room, which has a single bed with a pull-out bed underneath. A cot is available, when required.

There is a sofa-bed in an alcove in the living area. When opened out, this bed does not encroach on the space.
The kitchen has been recently modernised and comes fully equipped. The private roof terrace has a built-in BBQ and four sunbeds.

The complex is low rise, consisting of only 91 units. The complex is caringly maintained. The gardens are mature with palm trees, various types of fruit trees and shrubs. The paths throughout are cobbled. The delightful swimming pool (including children's section), which is positioned alongside the restored windmill, is surrounded by mature palm trees and overlooks Albufeira old town and the magnificent coastline. The complex also boasts two tennis courts and a snack bar.

The complex is opened all year round, though the snack bar is typically closed between November and March.

Conditions

A 20%deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.
The changeover day is usually Saturday during peak season (although other days can suit on occasions, so check with owner to see if possible), but otherwise flexible. Long-term lets available during low season at very reasonable prices. Please contact owner for information.

The Albufeira / Windmill Hill, Albufeira area

Albufeira is one of the Algarve’s most popular resorts but retains its distinctive Portuguese character. The historic town is particularly pretty with its narrow cobbled streets lined with whitewashed houses, restaurants and shops. The central square is a good place to sit and watch the world go by.

The area around Albufeira provides opportunities to indulge in all varieties of watersports. In addition, there are superb golf courses, aqua parks, zoo and attractive villages within a short distance of the town.

An additional attraction in the area is the new Marina de Albufeira with its controversial architecture and 474 moorings.
