Built in 2004 the three bedroom villa Casa Montana Roja is located just outside the triving market town of Albox. The villa is set on an elevated position and enjoys spectacular all round views of the mountains.
Ideal for a get-away rural holiday, the villa is completely self-contained and has a large 10 x 5 metre pool. However, the lovely beaches at Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar are within easy reach. And, if you enyoy a game of golf, there are several good courses nearby.

The Costa de Almeria region
Costa de Almeria is at the very eastern side Andalucia. It's probably best known as the location of many well known films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Patton as well as hundreds of lesser known westens. The regions very dry climate makes it an excellent film set. When you're there make sure you visit Mini Hollywood and enjoy one of the daily 'shoot-outs'. Much of Almeria is desert but it has long stretches of empty beached and quaint coves. Here you can enjoy a wide variety of water sports. With an average of 320 days of sunshine each year the Costa de Almeria has an ideal climate.
Albox area
Albox is a bustling market town located in the north of Almeria and is about a 40 minute drive from the beaches of Mojacar, Vera and Garrucha. It's about 140 kms from Almeria the capital city of the province and has good access to the Autovia del Mediterraneo which runs the whole length of the eastern coast of Spain. Forming a spectacular back drop to Albox are the Sierrra de las Estancias which rise to 1500m. The area is well served for golfers with courses at Indiana Springs, Marina Golf and Valle de Este.
How to get there
Many budget airlines now fly into Almeria airport , which is about one hour drive away. Other airports which serve the area are at Murcia, Alicante & Granada which are all less than a 2 hour drive away.
An English representative, who lives nearby, will meet and greet you at an agreed location and will escort you to the property.
