About the home

This beautiful 3 bed2 bath villa has private gardens and 9m by 4m pool which is always a big hit with the children. The location is stunning and very peaceful. The villa itself is very spacey and designed for open air living, with all necessary amenities.

Local village Partaloa is a real step back in time to real Spain and is just a 5 minute walk. Its 5 bars all offer something different with traditional tapas a must. It also has a small supermarket, bakers and pharmacy for day to day necessities. It is situated 10 minutes from the large market towns of Olula Del Rio and Albox. There are an abundance of restaurants, as well as tenpin bowling, snooker club and ball parks here. The coastal resort of Mojacar is a 45 minute drive.

The villa overlooks "Rancho Luz Del Sol" which is a horse riding and rescue centre. Here you can take a trek into the mountains, stopping at a restaurant on route, or having a BBQ on your return. Beginners and first timers are welcome. They currently have 35 horses and are able to cater for every ability. Quad bike biking and mountain biking is also available. Guided walks can also be organized.

This 3 bed 2 bath villa boasts 3 large double bedrooms with the ability to sleep 8 with the additional sofa bed. The living space is very large with open plan kitchen to lounge and dining area in the turret.. The gardens are enclosed and gated with off street parking. The private pool is 9m by 4m and always a great hit with the children especially on those hot summer days.

The Andalucia / Almeria Province region

Partaloa village has around 750 inhabitants and is 600 metres above see level. The village is traditionally Andalucian with white washed houses all nestled into the mountain side. The Spring and Autumn are the lovely seasons, and sunshine with warm temperatures are pretty much guaranteed. In the summer months temperatures can get very high with constant sunshine!!!! Ideal for the sun worshipper with the private pool to cool down in. The summer evenings are long and warm, ideal for al fresco dining, relaxing outside with a cold, long drink or partying at any of the local summer fiestas. The local scenery is largely unspoilt and the local views are quite breathtaking especially with our incredibly colourful sunsets. Partaloa is a slice of real Spain and an ideal place to have that relaxing break away from the stresses of city or town life.

The Albox / Partaloa area

As already mentioned we have fiestas all through from the spring to the end of October, so you are guaranteed one to be happening locally while you are here. The summer fiestas are a hive of activity with live music and dancing, kids entertainment, shows and all types of food available. They go on in each village for around a week and continue into the wee hours!! Other places of interest to visit while you are here are the Monastery at Saliente (30 minutes), the lakes at Baza (45 minutes), beaches at SanJuan (1 hour 15 minutes) and the Alhambra Palace (2 hours). If you come in the winter you can ski on the Sierra Nevadas which is near Granada around 2 hours away.

Fly to Almeria airport which is an hour away by car. Alicante is 2 hours but often has better deals on flights so worth checking.
Book direct with Easy Jet for Almeria and Alicante and check Ryan air to Alicante
Recommended car hire Europcar or Goldcar direct from the airport.
Full directions from either airport will be given upon booking. Transfers can be arranged.
