About the home

This fabulous villa is located just a short distance from the popular resort of Albir Playa. Located in a quiet residential area the villa is built over 4 floors. The main floor gives access to terraces overlooking the pool which are all gated making this area very safe for children. There is also a jacuzzi and an outside bar completes the holiday feeling. Upstairs the master suite is truly stunning with a very large room with doors opening to a further terrace. On the top floor is a huge solarium with power and light, ideal for taking in the breathtaking mountain views at night time.

The entrance door leads to a large hallway and door to a very spacious kitchen with breakfast area. The kitchen is well fitted with range oven and hob, american style double door fridge freezer, dishwasher, breakfast bar and doors opening to a raised terrace, ideal for morning coffee. Double doors then open into the lounge which has a flat screen TV and surround sound. Large comfy sofas make this room very appealing. Further doors open to the raised terrace area. On this floor you will also find 3 bedrooms and bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Ornate stairs take you to the next floor where you will find the amazing master bedroom suite. The large room has picture window to one side and sliding doors opening to a further large terrace. The en-suite has raised jacuzzi bath, separate shower and twin vanity sinks fitted. There are two further bedrooms with doors to a terrace and each have en-suite facilities with jacuzzi bath. A further double bedded room is located on this floor. The staircase rises again to the fabulous rooftop solarium with power and light. This large area is ideal for total sun during the day but also wonderful to take in the sea and mountain views. The villa sleeps up to 15 when including a child.

Further details outdoors:
There is ample parking on the road outside of this villa. There is garden on two sides of the property and the rear is completely terraced. The raised terrace has railings and lockable gates ensuring young children do not have access to the pool unless opened. A few steps lead down to the pool area where you will also find the jacuzzi, some gym equipment, bar and ample space for soaking up the sun. Further terraces are found on the first floor accessed from the bedrooms and there is also the rooftop solarium.

Please note: The air conditioning/heating is payable locally using a coin meter, 1€ will last approximately 1 1/2 hours for the full house. Baby equipment including cots and high chairs, safe, hairdryer can be available at the property but must be pre-booked. We can arrange car hire or bicycle hire by the day or week. We also offer welcome food hampers, special occasion hampers, airport transfers, and much more. Please ask us for information on the service you need to make your holiday perfect. We request that smoking be confined to outside areas.

Conditions

Departure clean and laundry included. For bookings of 14 nights or more a midstay mini clean and laundry change can be included. All bed linen and towels are provided, beach/pool towels are not included. A 20% (250 euro minimum) deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance payable within 8 weeks of the start of your holiday. A 500€ damage deposit will also be required.
For groups of singles, mixed singles and under 30's a larger deposit will be requested.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The nearest Airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive using the AP7 motorway will bring you to the property. The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the sight and smell is incredible. Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays. In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire to celebrate the night of St Juan should not be missed and the province of Alicante is known for staging the best Hogeras festival. The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is just 45 minutes by car or can be reached via a coastal train ride and has a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by the locals who sit and watch the people pass by. The Santa Barbara castle is wonderfully lit at night and is host to the many concerts and firework displays to mark celebtations throughout the year. A fabulous marina with yachts and visiting cruise ships and typically spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food. The resort of Albir has a lovely beach and the beach town of Altea has a picturesque old town with white washed houses and a beautiful old church nestled amongst antique, craft and art shops. Just 10 minutes south is the lively resort of Benidorm with its wonderful beaches Poniente and Levante, in Benidorm you will find something to do for all ages, all through the year. Nearby,is the town of Villajoyosa with its bright painted houses, painted this way it is said so that the fisherman can see their homes when out at sea.

The Albir Playa area

Albir is a popular resort all year round with lots of restaurants, shops, café bars and supermarkets. Every Friday there is a local market at the neighbouring town of Alfaz del Pi where you can purchase locally grown fruit and vegetables as well as local crafts. Albir is also famous for its summer film Festival this year the dates are 2 - 11 July 2010 - with famous actors and actresses attending - a selection of latest films are even shown on the beach at Albir on a large screen for all to enjoy. Well placed for the N332 or AP7 roads means that the other towns and villages are easily reached, there is also a regular bus service linking the towns. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Natura are very close to this property as is the golf course Villa Aitana or Don Cayo. Other golf courses are within easy reach in well under an hour. Inland are other great towns to enjoy as well as the mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing. . Many coastal towns have fishing ports where the restaurants sell the fish caught that day. Mountaineering, horse riding, karting and many other activities can all be done locally. We are also able to organise any activity that you would like to try from balloon flights, helicopter rides, jeep safari, quad bike hire, jet skiing, nordik walking and paint ball .............. just tell us what you require and let us organise it for you.

Nearest airport Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to junction 65 (approximately 45 minutes) the property is then approximately 10 minutes from junction 65 following the signs to Alfaz del Pi and Albir on the N332. Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and the nearest station is Alfaz del Pi, you will need to take a short taxi drive from this station. An airport transfer taking you door to door can be arranged as can daily or weekly car rental. Flights into Valencia airport will give you a drive of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, again following the AP7 motorway until you reach junction 65.

Aug 10 First of all; we had a superb week in Albir and in the house. It was a really nice place and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
The villa is amazing, everything to a high standard, we have had a great holiday! Guests, Gill Aug 2010.
Aug 2010 We had a fantastic holiday and thought the villa was great. It was very well equipped for so many of us, Danny was also very helpful when we asked for him to change the gas bottle and some bulbs. We all agreed that we would consider using the Villa again in the future, although it will probably be a couple of years before we all go on a family holiday again.
May 2009 We had a brilliant time here, the house felt very secure and safe. Our family had a wonderful holiday here, thank you so much.
April 2010 We had a fantastic few days in such a wonderful villa and would like to book it again for a week over Easter Next year.
June 2010 We all liked the fact that the outside gates locked behind you - it made it feel very secure.
The kitchen was very well equipped and the layout of the downstairs in particular was very good for a large group. The gym equipment was also good. The outside bar was extremely useful. Especially the outside freezer/fridge ! The outside area was generally very well kept and the pool was well maintained.
Thank you for giving accurate timings for the walk to town (and more importantly the walk back being uphill!)
We have some very happy memories of our stay there and would certainly recommend the villa and the area to other groups.
